Welcome Sir Knights

You have been bestowed the honor of Knighthood, and continued your journey in learning the lesson of patriotism. The primary purpose of your Fourth Degree membership is to foster the spirit of patriotism in members and the community at large and encourage active Catholic citizenship.

As a Fourth Degree Knight you have the opportunity to become part of your assembly's color corps. As a color corps member, you will be recognized widely by the distinctive attire of tuxedo, feathered hat (chapeau), cape and sword. Color corps members regularly take part in civic events such as parades and wreath-laying ceremonies, and in ecclesial functions at Catholic churches.

Assembly Hosts Exemplification:

Worthy Faithful Navigators and Brothers All,

I am pleased to announce that the Monsignor Buckley Assembly # 627 has hosted our first experimental Economical Exemplification in the District of New Hampshire.  You may recall that this idea was introduced by Distrcit Master. ed Kenendy at the State Convention in May of 2007. Any 3rd Degree Knight having received his First Degree at 6 months prior to this exemplification had been eligible. However it was geared towards those Brother Knights that may have had a particular hardship and could not for one reason or another justify the expense of taking the full-blown exemplification. This was especially useful to students and seminarians that in addition to the normal cost they could not attend an exemplification during the other times of the year.

Below is a picture of Concord Council #112 4th Degree Candidate Joey Myers, who after having taken his Degree on Saturday the 19th, is now a fellow Sir Knight of the Monsignor Buckley Assembly #0627.
