Nextel
1.) Call Nextel Care (611), tell them you want to add the Two-way Text Messaging Express package to your phone. There is no monthly fee, only a fee of $.10 a msg if you send/receive text messages. This will ensure that your phone always has an IP address.
2.) Once this is activated on your account (you'll see a small globe in the top right of your phone), go to Menu --> Net --> Nextel.com --> Sub ID and write down the numbers. Ex; you will see xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx_atlsnup2.adc.nexteldata.net (write the x's)
*If you dont see a globe withen 2 min, power off your phone and power it back on. The globe should now appear.
*You might have to update something, it shouldent take long
3.) Go Here http://www.teknidude.com/wap/alert.asp and add the numbers to the beginning of the address already provided. Send the Net Alert.
4.) Once you receive the alert, it will allow you full web access. Simply go to your Mesg area, then Net Alerts, then choose TekniWap.
5.) Congratulations!
Boost Mobile
1) Go to http://www.boostmobile.com
2) Enter your cell number in Send a Messaage
2.5)Click Go.
2.5.5)Send yerself a message, with body of: http://www.teknidude.com/wap/alert.asp
3) Wait for message to arrive, and follow the link
4) Go to 5) Net Alert and your sub id will show up. You may want to write it down if you want to send yourself more alerts, but otherwise, go down and and click (*) Alert.
5) Congratulations!
