LCW Chairman of the Board Christian Calaway was rushed to the hospital only moments after LCW Showdown went off the air last night. Hospital officials told LegendsChampionshipWrestling.com that Calaway was immediately taken into surgery where doctors rushed to operate on the 25 year old founder of Legends Championship Wrestling to remove the bullets fired by The Iron Sheik, one in his shoulder, and one in his chest. Doctors operated and a press conference is expected to take place later today regarding his status.
Calaway, along with Baby Doll, were taken hostage, at gunpoint, by The Iron Sheik. Sheik, who was disgruntled after losing his job in a loser leaves LCW match to Jake “The Snake” Roberts at last Sunday’s LCW Night of Horrors pay-per-view, apparently blamed Calaway for the loss and told police after the incident that he had felt persecuted by the Chairman for months which forced the Iranian to focus his rage and anger on the Chairman of the Board.
Sheik took Calaway and Baby Doll hostage at the beginning of last night’s episode of LCW Showdown, and despite efforts from Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie, the Iron Sheik’s manager, Nikolai Volkoff, the Iron Sheik’s former tag team partner, and others, it was LCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel’s urging of the Sheik to release the cameraman who was also being held captive, that sparked the events that would lead to Calaway being shot. The cameraman tripped exiting the office which distracted Sheik and gave Baby Doll an opening to attempt to wrestle the gun away from Shiek. However, the gun accidentally went off twice and shot Calaway once in the shoulder and once in the chest. The Iron Sheik is currently being held by police for further questioning as is Baby Doll who was not injured in the incident.

ATLANTA - Kid Rock was arrested early Sunday after a brawl at a restaurant and spent about 12 hours in jail before being released, police said.
The musician stopped at the Waffle House restaurant shortly after 5 a.m. after his performance at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, authorities said.
“He and five members of his entourage were involved in a fight with a male customer inside the Waffle House,” said Mekka Parish, a spokeswoman for the DeKalb County Police Department.
The customer recognized a female with Kid Rock’s party and exchanged words with her, Parish said.
“It escalated to a physical altercation between Kid Rock and that male customer and moved outside to the parking lot,” she said. At some point the customer punched out a restaurant window, she said.
Kid Rock left in his tour bus and was stopped by police about a mile from the restaurant, Parish said. The musician and five members of his entourage were taken into custody on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
The other customer was charged with criminal damage to property, a felony, Parish said. Kid Rock was released from the county jail on bond about 5 p.m.
A telephone message left with Kid Rock’s publicist was not immediately returned.
The other customer was treated at a hospital for cuts and bruises. No one in Kid Rock’s group was hospitalized, police said.
I swear this girl is in the news more that any celebrity!
The latest on her is that she had ran over a photographer's foot when she was leaving the Los Angeles medical clinic "after undergoing what appears to be a lip-plumping procedure." The man screamed.
An onlooker said: "She was covering her mouth with her hand and trying very hard not to let photographers catch a glimpse of her mouth.
"As she was driving away one handed she pulled out over a photographer's foot."
But the snapper seemed of walk away without receiving any medical attention.
Why do they let this girl out on the streets anywhere is beyond me!
