Sports Stars Join WABBA at New Image Gym!
The launch of a new partnership between New Image Gym and WABBA
got off to a resounding success, with the first WABBA Course from March
6th-12th 2006.
New Image has teamed up with WABBA to deliver the industries leading
Fitness Pro-Trainer Courses in WABBA’s hometown of Sleaford. Throughout
the seven day’s the students were put through their paces using the
gym’s extensive range of equipment, whilst the theory side of the
course delivery was held in the gym’s recently renovated conference
room.
Mark Dawson, owner of New Image Gym said, "The atmosphere in the gym
during the course was fabulous with an amazing level of camaraderie and
enthusiasm from all the students. New Image Gym are proud to be able to
host these courses and be WABBA’s choice of venue for Lincolnshire."
Students on the course came from many parts of the East Midlands, and
included already established Fitness Instructors as well 6 competitive
sports players from different sporting backgrounds, giving the course a
fantastic start right from the beginning of the week!
Amongst the students was Claire Waumsley, the latest in a long list of
Fitness Trainers from Manby Health & Fitness Centre and Alistair
James, the 2003/ 04/ 05 medallist in both the British and European
WEKAF Full Contact and Stick Fighting Championships, plus County Rugby
& Football Players, a British Judo Championships contestant, and a
Bodybuilding Stars of Tomorrow contender.
Now in the first 3 courses of this year, WABBA have attracted no less
than 17 competitive stars from various sporting backgrounds including
County, National, and European & World levels! Both WABBA and New
Image Gym are proud to be associated with and chosen by these sporting
individuals for Pro-Trainer Fitness Instructor training.
Mark went on to comment, “When I had the opportunity to get on board
with WABBA I jumped at the chance!” Now after seeing the calibre of the
trainers who come to WABBA, we want to create an ever more successful
training environment for the Fitness Industry here in Lincolnshire”.
