FAQ
1: Is this a fanfiction site?
No, we're a roleplaying game and we turn our game into stories so
we and others can read back and enjoy it some more
2: So it's a game based on Poltergeist the Legacy?
Yes, we continued on where season 4, the finale left it. We
created our own new season 5 and hopefully more seasons to
come.
3: Does this mean Original Characters aren't welcome?
Actually, we welcome all characters, canon or original
4: What's the difference between those?
Canon are show/movie characters and originals are ones made
up
5: How do you post on the game?
Through email or the yahoo group. We all post in third person
view, not first.
6: I can't post once every two days, is it realy a rule?
Yes, we keep this strict because the game might slow down and
die out. You however get warnings, three strikes you're out so
to speak. If you want, you can also receive mail or IM when its
your turn
7: How long are these replies?
There's no maximum but I can honestly tell you it's not novel
length. Just make sure you don't keep it to one sentence replies
because those are hard to reply back to and frowned upon
8: I saw this other group named New Destinies too, is it the same?
No, that's New Destnies: New Horizons. A few of the ND players
migrated to their own game but its in no way affiliated to this
one.
9. On their FAQ it's said that you continued on alone?
Don't worry, this is not a one man RP at all, right now
there's 4 of us and I hope we will get more players in the
future. But we're already having fun and that's what counts
in the end :)
10. How solid is this group, I don't want to keep starting over
We've been going strong since 2002, we just restarted
but it's the first time we did so and we are
continuing on where we left of, with less characters
Game Guide Lines
1. Be courteous at all times. Anything can be said if done so
diplomatically.
2. Any personal grievance you may have with another player should be
taken to the GM.
3. Any issue that you feel is urgent, contact the GM (me)
4. If for any reason you will not be able to post for an extended
period of time, let us know. If you want your character temped and
know who you want to do so, let us know that also.
5. Any questions about plot progrses, characters, member status, or
about the group in general should be addressed as OOC. If I don't
know the answer, I will find out for you.
6. We post a minimal of once every two days, there's no maximum. Be
sure you can meet up with the minimal or don't join as active player
because it will slow the game down
7. If you have a problem with the way somebody plays his/her character
because of out of character behaviour, feel free to contact the GM. But
it will not be said here on the group and in all likelyhood, if there's
no troubling ooc-ness, nothign will be done. We all play differently
and that's okay, we're here to have fun, not to criticise.
