Your collection is wonderful!
I'm looking into the dates for a makers mark on some ceramics I've found. I noticed some of your pieces are made by Grindley. Have you ever seen a grindley mark that is written in green cursive and says "Grindley England Hotel Ware." I tried to include a picture but the message wouldn't let me.

Hi Dennis. I enjoy your blog, and agree it's exciting discovering new treasures. Apparently just missed you when we were in Armstrong BC last month, also miss your blog entries so I hope you make another posting to update us on your travels and finds.

While in Drumheller last week I purchased a small hotel platter with the initials T-H on it. Assuming it may be from an old Alberta hotel, would you have an idea of what hotel or other that it may be from. I can send a photo if you give me an address, and maybe if you post it here online, other readers may know where it's from.

Hi, great collection. Love the plate from New Denver. I got hooked on Barlees Take care. show and years back drove to as many places I could, Sandon, Greenwood, Cody. When I searched for that hotel in New Denver, I could not find it. A fellow told me it burnt down the year before. I found out how hard it is to find that stuff as I wanted to find a bottle, plate or cup, just a few things for a coffee table display. I did fine a piece from a cup with the old hotel on it in Hedley, but did not buy the " Piece". Someday, maybe, I will find something to buy.

Hi, I have some hotelware creamers and a plate that I would be interested in getting your opinion on and possibly selling. The creamers are mostly Vancouver and there is one from Enderby,B.C. Could you get back to me and I could send you some pictures. Thanks,Glen.

In my opinion a very rare piece
I only found platters and plates on the web
So perhaps you can give me some additional info
I can send you some pic's if you want to
