Neshama Birth Services is a Doula Service in Bozeman. I offer you quality doula care, plus a free lending library for clients! My name is Kylie Heaton, and I am a (soon to be!) certified Doula through DONA.
DOULA is a greek word meaning "a woman who helps another woman". What a doula does is helps her client to have the best birth that she can. Whether at home or at a hospital, going natural or using medication, I will be there to support you!
If you decide not to use drugs, I know many ways to help releive pain in childbirth, using water, counterpressure, accupressure, and possitioning.
If you decide that you would like medication, I am there to support you in that as well!
I will help you write a birth plan, to give to your care provider, and I will be the voice to remind the nurse that "such and so is what she wants". I will help your husband, as well, to support you, if you decide he is to be there.
I am also a good way to get rid of the unwanted mother in law! 
In short, my job is to help you have the birth you want to have, not the birth that I want you to have, the birth aunt Martha wants you to have, the birth you want to have!
Doulas are a great tool for the other half. Many men don't really know what to do in labor to help their wives. I in no way replace your husband but rather help him help you. If he decides to be involved in the birth (and I do not push either way - it's an individual decision based on many factors) I will speak with and to him as much as I do you. He is as involved in the birth as he wants to be - I am there to help him acheive that as well!
