The NERD Story

The following is the story of how {NERD} came to be. It started when SOCOM: US Navy Seals was released on August 27, 2002. Louis(GSR) was the first to get the game. He thought it was cool, so he brought it over to show Bj(DC2) and Randy(EP3). They were both amazed and decided right then that they were going to get it too. Soon enough, Edward(E46boy) came over and saw the greatness that is SOCOM.  After each of us got our games, we wanted to make a clan. The core of {NERD} was building. A preliminary name we had was REBeL, a modified acronym of our names. Then Louis came up with something. NERD. Never Ever Really Dead. Since then, the name has stuck. We accumulated more members, and now have enough for a full team.
{NERD} is a very close-knit clan. All our members are either friends or relatives. We each have our strengths and weaknesses, and no NERD is better than the rest. We work as a team. We use our heads. We are NERDs

Now that SOCOM II has come out, the {NERD}s are starting to get larger. It started from the original 4 (REBeL) and is now reached past 16. As {NERD} gets bigger, the name is getting around too. We now have members in San Diego, Temecula, and West Covina. We wont stop...

And we haven't. The {NERD}s have mirged with another clan, West Coast Amigos. This mirge has allowed the {NERD}s to  meet new players and also get better. Many players have come and gone for {NERD} but we still stand strong, and we always will...
