Getting Members For Your Guild

Most new guilds lack members. If your guild is the same then this guide is for you!

First thing you might want to know is, some types of guilds are more popular than others. For example NR, HP, Scribble, and Celeb are some of the most popular guilds.

The key to getting people to join your guild is to advertise. If people do not know it exists then they won't join it. Also, don't forget to add five descriptive keywords about your guild so that people can find it in searches.

Visit a guild rater. Try the harsh ones. The more suggestions the better. You should always be looking for ways to improve your guild.

If your guild crashes and burns, i would suggest going private and sorting everything out. When you think your ready open it up to the public again.

Work on your guild homepage some more. Take a look at some of the top guilds to get an idea of what interests a lot of people to join them. Usually they have an easy to read and look at color scheme for their guild, yours may be a little on the bold, bright, and extreme side--you can use bright colors, but mix them with some subtle colors as well, so that your future long playing neopet members wont go blind :)
