New UPDATES!! more pictures in the gallery! check it out!
I'm home at last! Today is one of the happiest days of my group WeAreBanned (WAB). It all started when our friend Redd Santos (a.k.a Aghora, the founder of WAB), invited us to join a contest sponsored by UP Diliman, and we did. He also helped us in making the script. My group made a comics entitled "Ulan". We have been making it for one month. It was really hard because all of us were busy. But JP Bantigue, (a.k.a. Zeero_huy another founder of our group WAB) sacrificed his time making the story. And then Aaron and Den, (Air-Run and Darkmotives a moderator of the forums) made the extraordinary line art. Arnel and I did the editing and the details.
The judging was held today at UP Diliman's Bahay ng Alumni. I had trouble getting there. I have not gone to UP by myself. But JP, a very helpful person, gave me a map! So I did face my fears to learn commuting and going there by my own. As I arrived at North avenue, the place was very mysterious to me. I rode a jeepney (public vehicle) and prayed that nothing bad will happen. Remember, it was my first time going there alone.
Thank God I saw the "Bahay ng Alumni" building. The atmosphere inside was safe and the people were friendly and easy to talk to. Every person in the house was an artist so I really can relate to them. I saw our booth and helped selling our comics. I met new people and my friends in DA in person. I also met the best filipino comic artists! Too many to mention.
At around 5:30 pm,the calling of the winners started. Our new friend heard the word "Ulan". He asked me, "Ulan lang yung gawa natin diba?" "Oo", I replied. "Tinawag kasi yun as second place e." I was shocked and told JP to go on stage. And it was true! We won second place! For a starter competing with the pro's? WOOOHOOO!!

Every morning, we have to wake up at 5 in the morning during school days so as not to be late. Living an average life, we only have one bathroom.
This morning, my dad woke up at 3:00 am (I don't know why) but he cooked breakfast and broke my dreams. As usual we did the everyday routine. We left the house at 6:30 am (not too late and early).
As we arrive at C5, an MMDA blocked the way and wanted us to turn rightt to Global City because there was a human barricade along the way. So my dad panicked as he turns right to the unknown route to school. He doesn’t know what way to take and we were not supposed to be seen by any policeman because it is a “color coding” day for us.
He’s thinking of not going to school anymore because we were lost and he can’t think of a way out. But when he saw a jeep (public vehicle), he asked the driver if we’re going on the right track. The driver nods and as we went along, we saw C5 and got our way to school.
If there’s a problem, there’s a way to solve it. You just have to focus and plan as you go along. Like the road, there are many possibilities to be done for you to arrive at one place. That’s what I’m trying to master. To know that there is nothing impossible in life.

The Junior Archers, De La Salle Zobel, brought home the bacon after twelve years of fighting to reach this goaland a fifty year drought of the championships. My batch, SY 2005 - 2006 is now part of history!
On the other hand, the seniors, De La Salle University, lost the fight with the Tammaraws. Yes, it's only a game but some things are not right. They have shown their stupid attitudes by outcrying "LUMA NA YAN!" while our cheerdancers were dancing. And they really made me mad when they threw cups with ice and water (I'm not sure if it's water) to the La Salle crowd.
If they were angry because of what the mad man did to their MVP, the University has already apologized and besides, even La Sallians was appalled by his gesture.

New UPDATES! I have posted my new TRADITIONAL ARTS Check it out!
Our school decided to allow its students to watch the championship this coming thursday! We are all excused as long as we come with the teachers and classmates. We must pay 270 pesos for the ticket and the ride going from our school to Araneta Colliseum.
I talked to my parents if we (Kraiganne, Kim, Coby) could go there alone. My mom granted my request because our house is just near the colliseum and give us more resting time, rather than having to wake up at 5:00 in the morning for us to catch the school bus, encounter traffic, watch the game, and come back to school again only to head back home where we had been in the first place. It's just not practical.

Phew! I have finished another deviation for MY DEVART site. After finishing my project, I talked to my friend JP about what to do to be able to sell our comics at 55 pesos each in UP Diliman, on October 22, 2005. Please pay a visit and if you feel a little generous, buy at least one of our comics!
Now, I'm trying to update my blog. And it's really nice for a lot of my friends come and visit my site. Thanks also to my dad for having a lot of friends doing the same and even commenting!
My friends Marian and Mara are going to celebrate their 18th birthday this comming November. Both of them wanted me to play for them. Marian told me that she wants me to play the violin while Mara wants me to play the guitar. Whoaw. I only have a month to practice!

Since my website is not yet completely finished, I have to edit a lot more stuff for it to work properly. My first problem is my shout box. I can't post anything! The computer just keeps on saying "cookie deactivated". I don't know what to do! Does anyone know how to fix this problem? If so, I would be really grateful if you can teach me how to correct this.
I'm also planning to put flash in my website because I think that it is too plain. But I have to study on how to do it first.
Our school De La Salle Zobel (juniors) won the first round! My classmates Manoj, Miguel, and Martin are part of the basketball players. Some people call them the “Ballers” (I’m not sure if I spelled it correctly, though). If we win the second game, we will be champions! From what I have heard from other people, juniors of La Salle haven’t won a championship for a lot of years now. If we do win this game, our batch will be in the annals of history as the first champions DLSZ ever had! BUWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Salamat Nica sa pics!
At last! I have performed my favorite guitar piece. I don't think I perfectly played it well like I should have but I felt good because I finally finished sharing it with them. At least I have made people smile and shown my talents in music.
These were what happened to me before I started playing. There was a contest for both Junior and Senior levels - The Inspirational Song Contest. Not just to compose a song but to make a Music Video. Both batches had three entries to be judged. So I thought of playing during the intermission. My guidance counselor Ms. Cheryl Julliano told me that I could play after all entries have finished.
I was really nervous because I have not yet performed using the guitar. As my friend Raffy, as a host of the show, called my name. I stood up and went to the stage with my dad's guitar. A lot of people were shouting "Go Mizel!". I smiled thinking that the crowd was not bored to watch me.
I sat down being spotted by the lights and seeing a lot of people staring at me. I'm trying to feel confident before I play and suddenly my sister shouted, "Go KUYA!". I saw her and gave her a smile and a "thumbs up". So I started playing. Unfortunately, the first three notes were wrong so I stopped, breathed deeply and started playing again. While Playing, the audience was very quiet. Fortunately none of them distracted me. When I reached the ending part, thay already gave me a hand of applause until I ended it. When I stood up they were still clapping. I bowed and I said to my mind, "shete.. ang dumi." But it's ok because it was informal and I was known by all the people as a violinist. So they were really shocked to see me playing the guitar.

I'm thinking of a good background for this website but I still don't have any in my mind. I’m putting up my poems, artworks and editing the site a little bit.
Tomorrow is the day for me to perform on stage. I hope that I will play a nice and clean piece to share tomorrow.

7:28pm
We left the school at 5:45 pm and got home late because of the heavy traffic. I don't know what to do first because there are lots of things to do like drawing, practice playing the violin or the guitar. But it is a must to practice playing the guitar beause I might play in front of the whole high school students on Friday (September 30, 2005).
One of the best pieces I know in guitar, “You Should Know by Now” as played by E. Klugh, and notated by R. Aloy. Even if I haven’t played this instrument in front of many people, it is time to face my fears. A talent is useless if you will not share it with other people and I am very thankful for having this.

(for filipinos only)
I love you Mara!
At oo nga pala! Sumali kami ng grupo ko, WEAREBANNED, sa isang contest. Malapit na namin matapos ito at sana manalo para may pera na kami! Magandang simula ito para makilala kami ng ibang tao.
