If your Petpet gets zapped into a pile of soot, and you send the pile of soot back to your inventory and will it turn back to its original form? If not, can piles of soot be sold as Petpets? I am afraid if your Petpet gets turned into a pile of soot, it remains a pile of soot forever. This is one of the many reasons that the PPL do not support the use of the lab ray.
Me: Nope, thats not true, at least for the time being. Someone tested it and it turned back. You can lab the soot to another petpet anyway, as long as you dun rmeove it.
I was told that the petpet lab ray can make your Petpet disappear. Why? It really dosen't seem fair to make someone's beloved Petpet just go poof and be gone forever. This seems really unfair given that if we remove a zapped Petpet it changer back to it's original form. Could you please remove the "disappear forever" option? Please? The Petpet Lab Ray has to have a down side, otherwise people would just use it as a way to change cheap Petpets into expensive rare ones. It is incredibly rare to have your Petpet turned into a pile of soot. If it happens it is very unfortunate and sad, but what did you expect? You are firing a very unstable and unsafe looking laser at your beloved Fluffy!
Me: Uhh, not nice. But why could you lab an expensive petpet anway... so its not that bad, rite?
Wow, big news, the Petpet lab ray is finally released by the neopets. Now you can go to the lab and hope something good happens. You can get an avatar from this too. How do you use the lab? Collect the maps...which aren't released yet I think.
So is the lab open or close? Hmmm... or maybe the maps are so rare, no one got it yet. One thing to note that when your petpet is lab, it cannot wins the PPL. Whether the trophy (if your petper won it before it got lab), will be forfeited is not mention, so I suggest not to take the risk.

If you zap a petpet in to, say, jelly, with the petpet lab map, will it stay jelly even after being removed from the pet, or will it return to how it was before you zapped it?
If a Petpet has been zapped by the Lab Ray, and you decide to remove it, it will revert to its original form. This is to prevent people from making a bajillion Neopoints by zapping Mallards into Moltenores.
Me: Oh dang, and I thought I can earn huge bucks from this :( But at least, it might make those hard-to-get petpet avatars easier to get.

Another issue that I notice on Neopets, I have submitted my User Lookup for like ages...like 6 months already and still haven't won the contest or recieve the rejection neomail. I mean... Neopian Times Editorial took a week, and the contest... 6 MONTHS?! I bet more people ask questions than submit their lookup.
Besides, it is not fair that user lookups are picked based on the random theme of the day. Take Discovery of Meridell as example, my Jeran lookup might win the contest. But since they didn't choose a winner for this day of the week, I kinda lost the chance to win this until a year later. So it is more of a luck thing, the day they choose a winner is important.
Ok, its time for Word Jumble.
1st_class_citizen will be posting on the Guild Message Board a list of scrambled up Neo-related words. It is your job to unscramble them. After you have all the words unscrambled, you have to find the hidden word.
That part is easy! 1st word = 1st letter in that hidden word, 2nd word is the second letter in it, ect. First person who post all the words and hidden word spelled correctly in the board, wins.
