For sheer time that it takes to make the Little Dudes, as well as many of our cosplay pieces, at this point we have decided to just do three major conventions a year, in addition to the small SOAP parties that you can track at http://soap.ottawa-anime.org/
The three major conventions that we intend to try to get tables at in the Artists' Areas are AC3 in Ottawa every November, G-Anime in Gatineau during February, and Otakuthon in Montreal in July. While we will likely continue to attend other conventions like Anime North, it's not logistically possible for us to be able to make as many figures and costume pieces as we would need to do something like that. However, before any convention we will be attending, whether we have a table there or not, it will always be possible to give us pre-orders, and then we just meet up somewhere at any convention we attend. This means that you don't need to pay any shipping fees, and 3D items like the Companion Cube or Question Block will be far more affordable than if you had to worry about the Canada Post Package charge! We can fulfill orders at almost any time of year (given enough notice! The bigger the item, or the more complex, the more time we'll need!), so you don't need to wait for us to show up at an anime convention to put in your orders and requests!
About Us
NekoRequest consists of Mandy and Michael, and more recently, Jason, our slave labour. Michael is responsible for all the costume pieces, including the metal work and cat ears. Mandy does the Little Dude figures, including the original plotting out for the designs from the original content for this fanart medium. Jason is currently working on making a large number of 3D Companion Cubes for the next convention, as well as pondering new Little Dude figures like Samurai Jack, and Rated R phrases stiched prettily by counted cross-stitch, and set into awesomely cool picture frames (of which will be available at conventions, but out of direct sight due to the nature of the content). All three of them live in the Ottawa area.
