Nebraska AMBUCS

The Nebraska Friends Chapter of National AMBUCS(TM) was begun in the summer of 2005.  AMBUCS is a national 501(c)3 non-profit organization with numerous local chapters, but none located in Nebraska.  A drive to provide the best for people with disabilities was the initiating factor of the Omaha-Metro based chapter.  Our primary goal is to provide adapted tricycles (AmTrykes ~ hand and foot powered tricycles) to children with disabilities free of charge.

The Dodge County Friends Chapter of National AMBUCS was birthed out of a fundraising partnership between a Thrivent Service Group and the Nebraska AMBUCS Chapter.  We are honored to work "shoulders together" for the special kids in our area!
