LOOKING FOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATIONS AND TEAMS TO JOIN
The Near North Hockey League ("NNHL") is currently looking for Minor Hockey Associations and Teams to join our new league. These can include School Teams, Church Teams, Community Teams, etc.
The NNHL is NOT affiliated with the Ontario Minor Hockey Association ("OMHA") or Hockey Canada. While we follow the same rules of the game, we are sanctioned and insured under the Canadian Hockey Parents Associaiton ("CHPA") which believes in "Hockey without Borders" and "Freedom of Choice".
The NNHL will set high standards that will include Certified Coaches and Trainers. Development of our players is a key part of the program and creating a life-experience for all players is a must. Our Code of Conduct is strict - Good Sportsmanship; Respect for Players, Coaching Staff and Officials; Abuse and Harassment will not be tolerated; Fair Play.
The NNHL, like the CHPA, believes that parents should have "freedom of choice" as to where their child plays hockey based on the type of program that is offered, registration fee's, and coaching selection process. We feel that hockey is not just about the "FIRST LINE".
