Since
NCW's inception in 2001, the most
prestigious event of the year has been the annual September supercard
known as Scorn. NCW history (and the history of backyard wrestling at
large) has been indelibly defined by the matches and events that have
taken place at this event.
Iron Man Match Announced as 'NCW Scorn' Main Event (AUGUST 18, 2005) -
The main event of 'NCW Scorn' has been announced: a sixty-minute Iron
Man Match for the NCW World Backyard Wrestling Championship. The two
participants in the match are number-one contender "The Future" Mark
Priebe and NCW World Backyard Wrestling Champion Suicidal Youth, who
has held the title since June 2005.
Continued... 20-Person Rumble Added to 'NCW Scorn' Card (AUGUST 16,
2005) - National Championship
Wrestling announced today
that a twenty-person Rumble match will now be a part of the ‘NCW Scorn’
supercard premiering September 25, 2005. In terms of the number of
partcipants, this will be the largest match ever broadcast on an NCW
webcast.
Continued... First Match Announced For 'NCW Scorn' (JULY 19, 2005) - The
first contest has been officially signed for NCW Scorn. In an NCW New
York State Title match, champion Doctor Phil will defend against
number-one contender Glade in a no-disqualification match. This match
will be contested on the campus of Alfred University in Alfred, New
York.

Theme Song for 'Scorn' Wrestling Webcast on September 25
(JULY 9, 2005) - The ultimate backyard wrestling webcast now has a spectacular theme song. National Championship Wrestling (http://www.NCWwrestling.com/), the world's largest backyard wrestling organization, announced today that Trapt's song "Stand Up" will be the official track for the "NCW Scorn" webcast on September 25. The track is the lead single from Trapt's sophomore album 'Someone In Control,' to be released by Warner Bros. on September 13. |
