A housing co-operative could not have the full member benefits without the obligations of those members. 18 Years of Age or Older Any resident in our Co-op who turns 18 (children of members, etc.) must go through the application and interview process and be accepted in order to become a member. Participation The main reasons for participating are for societal interaction among the members and keeping the housing charges affordable. "Many hands make light the load." Attending Co-op Meetings and Cleanups Normally, there are 2 general meetings (annual and budget) and the spring and fall cleanups each year. Members' input is necessary in order to have final decision on many matters concerning our Co-op. Following the Rules and Bylaws The rules of our Co-op are quite general and are made to ensure respect and privacy for the members. Note: Our Co-op will NOT tolerate any abuse, violence or threats made within the Co-op and the staff is authorized to call the authorities upon suspicion of these. It will also not tolerate any illegal activity within our Co-op. Any member found proven in a court of law to have performed any of these actions will be subject to eviction.
