I personaly would like to Thank All of the Members, Friends, and Volunteers that helped make this very trying year end with a successful Finals and Awards. With the hurricanes causing several shows to be cancelled and awards money running short - again our members pitched in and came through with Sponsor money that allowed the Youth riders to get the awards they worked so hard for. I would like to thank Dawn Hedrick for keeping the points more accurate than I ever could and Beth Cox for ALWAYS being there to help me at the desk, these two ladies worked at every show and NEVER complained!!! My awards committee, Kelly & Mickey Hess gathered prizes from out of state and have helped me put this show together again this year. Cherry & Ywell Thomas went into their own hearts and walllets to insure several Youth members were allowed to compete in the Youth World and Cherry also secured the Youth Saddle Sponsors. A Special Thank You to Weldon Jewel for his support here in New Roads. I could not have done it without everyones much appreciated help. The 2009 Season that will start January 31st with a $500.00 added show in Plaquemine, this will be a Membership Show - so please pass the word. Also any Member that gets a $500.00 plus Sponsor for 2009 season will receive a FREE NBHA Membership! I would like to wish all my members the Best of Luck on your final run of this 2008 season, Remember to Think Positive, Stay Safe & God Bless!
