THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS...
Before I even started my original work on promoting the NBA Live achievement for May 27th I wanted to create something similar to what Xbox.com and Official Xbox Magazine do. I wanted to create a calendar that has a certain game to be played for each day (but in a couple day increments for rental reasons). Xbox.com had a great idea by creating this calendar of events, but the problem is they only promote newer games which you wouldn't have a problem finding people to play in the first place. What I plan to do is create a calendar of older, less-played games where users can get on to get those pesky achievements that would otherwise be impossible to get since nobody plays them anymore. Not only would this help 1000's of users who want to get those achievements, but it would be a great way to bring life back into those older games for a few days.
