The Navigators in Mongolia

• August 1, 2009, Cathy became Mrs. Ronald Opfergelt in a beautiful, Christ centered ceremony.  She and Ron will reside in Bakersfield after their honeymoon to LakeTahoe.
• We were (all) honored and well cared for at the conference for overseas workers.  It was a relaxing time and so fun to be able to connect with and learn from others in similar situations.
• We were able to connect with many good friends in Las Cruces.
• God has given wisdom in decisions:
• After further consideration we have decided to tear down the Iowa house as well as the outbuildings and return all of it into land for crops.
• Marnie will be returning to Mongolia with John on August 14^th. 

• Pray for physical, emotional, and spiritual strength as we adjust back to Mongolia.
• Pray for us to have wisdom in reconnecting with our Mongolian friends and for the ability to encourage them to obedience to Christ.  Pray for understanding and wisdom in planning.
• Pray for God to lead us to Mongolians whose hearts are ready to obey and grow.  Pray especially for men with hearts prepared by God.
• We will not be able to end our sabbatical before returning to Mongolia.  Life is less complicated in Mongolia and we plan to continue to crystallize the lessons God has been speaking to us about there.  Pray that we will be disciplined to complete the final phase.
• Pray for grace for our children to follow through on decisions fostering their growth in Christ. 
• Pray for Ron and Cathy as they adjust to married life.  Pray for them to be able to relax and just enjoy life together now that the details of the wedding and a new house are behind them.
