The Navigators in Mongolia

To know Christ and To make Him known

Who we are

The first Navigators came to minister in Mongolia in 1992.  This was only two years after Mongolia opened up to the Western world.  The ministry was primarily focused on high school students in its early days.  Relationships were started through teaching English in the summer times. Today some 15 years later some of these students are mature laborers who have led family and friends to Christ.

Our ministry has evolved from a primarily student ministry to a ministry that is relationship oriented.  We are helping our young Christians live the “good news” before their families and friends giving them a flavor of Christ.  This has led to many family members and friends becoming interested in the claims of Christ.  Since Mongolia doesn’t have a Christian background we have found that living out the “good news” over time has been the only way to help others really understand the “good news.”

The ministry still includes high school and college students but we also have working people and are beginning to include studies for young couples.  It is an exciting, growing ministry with the need for much creativity and perseverance.

Our vision is that there will be people living out the “good news” in every area of Mongolia and on into neighboring countries.  We appreciate your interest in Mongolia and ask you to pray that the Lord of the Harvest will send forth laborers into this vast harvest field.  We hope that the information in the website will be of help to you.
