This is our Dominican National flag which is very important to us as its a sign of our Independence.
The central emblemrepresents the National Bird of Dominica(The Sisserou Parrot).
This is truly a great symbol towards fulfilment of aspiration.
The yellow stripes represents the sunshine of our land ,Bananas,Citrus and the Carib people,The white stripes represents the clarity of our rivers and the purity of our people.The blend of stripes and the dark green back ground symbolizes our rich forest and the islands lushness.
The black stripe represents the rich soil of our land on which Agriculture is based.
We are proud Dominicans thats why our flag is flown on every Government buildings ,a true symbol of our country.

This is mrs Pampo Israel which was known to us as the oldest living person in the world ,today we regret to post the passing away of Mrs Israel .Mrs Pampo Israel was born January 27th 1875 which states that ma Pampo as she was called was a (128 years ). But with lack of emphasis by the authourities mrs Islrael wasn't recorgnised as the oldest living person in the record books.She was truly a gift to us Dominicans showing how rich we are .She was laid to rest on the 22nd of October 2003 may she rest in peace as she was our oldest centenarian.
