THIS RIDE IS FOR WOMEN ONLY PLEASE
The ride is now scheduled for Saturday, June 20th, 2009. Most ladies have agreed that it's best to have a ride on the weekend as most of us work during the week.
I would like to make things a little easier this year, instead of mailing me a registration form please just send me an email with your name, contact phone # and email address to: jptmo@sympatico.ca if you would like to attend.
We will be leaving at 9am sharp from the Tim Horton's at 1840 North Talbot Rd. (Oldcastle) at the corner of Walker Rd. There is a Petro Canada right next door and a Shell kitty corner to the Tims if you could please make sure you have a full tank before the ride starts. Be sure to come out early if you'd like to socialize a bit and introduce yourself.
The route will be from Windsor to Chatham to pick up anyone from that area (we'll meet at the Tim Hortons at Bloomfield & Richmond), then continue on through Wallaceburg to Sarnia (we'll meet in Sarnia at Tim Hortons 1707 Hwy #7 aka London Line) for anyone there that needs to be picked up. Then off to Grand Bend for lunch (I'm open to suggestions for a restaurant for lunch).
Patches will be available the day of the ride for only $5.00.
If you have any questions please feel free to shoot me an email. Please also feel free to join us at http://forums.delphiforums.com/femalerideday/start to chat and get updated information. If you have not registered for delphi forums you'll have to create a user name & password for yourself.
"Female ride day is for women who ride motorcycles no matter what form, or style, no matter what the age or experience. Motorcycles of all makes and capacities, scooters, sport bikes, dirt bikes or ATV's. JUST RIDE.
The campaignes characterization JUST RIDE is a simple request of women riders and is the simple method that creates female rider awareness. It's not a charity, a fundraiser or controlled event. Riders are free to make the day as they so wish. Women are invited to join in, enjoy the camaraderire Internationally and be on their motorcycles on the first Friday of each May." motoress.com
