This is the original flock of 4 in their new home May 2004

They all look so young and unsure, bless them.
I have no idea who is who, as they all looked so alike.

It looks so clean, compared to today, no camo netting yet.

The Wellies, and yes I can see the difference, Ratchet on the left.

Arrival in October of the new 3 and they've got CORN!!!

Give us your Corn, NOW!!!

Absolutley no chance!!

I will get it, I will.

McQueen, already thinking about escape and the great wide world.
Valentine's Day is when hens who have stopped laying through the winter are meant to come back into lay.

Bracket, was on the nest yesterday evening (13/02/04) and I picked up her first egg of the year this morning.

Poor Ratchett, it's a cold wind today( 12/02/05) and she looks like she's fluffing up to cope with it.

These belong to Blue and McQueen (well they did until I ate them!)
Mc Queen lays rounded eggs and Blue lays reasonable sized ovals
considering she's a Bantam.
McQueen's rounded egg

Rosie Blurred but not drunk!!

Blue being ruffled up by the cold wind.
After a long Winter, the hens have started to lay almost daily, for the last few weeks now I've been collecting between 4 and 6 eggs per day.
I have been selling some at work and even sent some to Norwich (am waiting to hear if they arrived in tact!!)

They did, Tomas told me yesterday he had Yellow Scrambled Egg, when I asked isn't scambled egg always that colour he replied, "When we get the eggs from Tesco's, scrambled egg is white".
