Kathy Lee Fawcett’s first book, In the Eyes of a Grieving Daughter, is a true story about a major event that happened to her and how she dealt with it. Most people can grieve, but there are many who have difficulties doing so. In the story you will find that Katie, the name of the woman in the story, has a lot of mishaps that get in the way of actually being able to sit back and just grieve. It’s a personal story and a very touching one at that. Not only losing one parent, but losing two in a short time, was not easy. Going back in time and reliving the whole situation was not easy, but it was her way of starting to heal from this major loss. Kathy hopes to touch the hearts of others and to help someone that may be going through something of this nature. Kathy’s motto is “everything happens for a reason, one that we may never know.” Always try and turn something that is negative into something positive and there will be a lesson learned in it all. Life is fragile, so handle it with care.
