Nannie's Goat Farm

Let me introduce myself to you. I'm Joyce Shelby and the wonderful man who helps me in this adventure is my husband Eddie. (More about him to come). We live in beautiful southern Illinois, home of Garden of the Gods, where we raise and sell Boer goats for meat and pets.

We started this adventure in 2002 with 4 pygmy goats. Three does, Momma Goat, Ruthie, Irene and  one buck named Ole Stinkie. From there we have grown and added Boer goats.

Have you ever heard that goats are like potatoe chips? Well they are, the more you get, the more you want. At least that was what happened to us.

We currently have 40 Boer goats and lots of babies.

We are located on highway 34, in Eichorn, Illinois. 

Eichorn is in Hardin county which is on the beautiful Ohio River.

 If you are not careful you will blink your eyes  and drive through the big city of Eichorn.

I'm having some problems getting my pictures to resize and still look like normal goat, LOL.
