*** News Flash***

CONGRATULATIONS...........

Club Member Margaret Coles of Moolarben Cocker Spaniels was chosen from an impressive list of finalists as Master Breeder”…..and Annetta Bainbridge won the category Excellence in contribution/leadership in canine affairs”.

Over 250 nominations from throughout Australia and overseas were received over the 25 categories available and the eight finalists in Netta’s category included those of Professor Bob Hales known for his work on the Canine Animal Welfare Committee and the opposition to the Tail Docking issue. Lorraine Chippendale of Chinaroad Lowchens was another very worthy nomination as were several breeders, one in the UK who had really gone the extra mile to assist new puppy owners who experienced heartbreaking problems with their dogs.

These awards are accomplishments that Margaret and Netta should feel very proud of.

Nominations are now open for 2009 with the list of categories and nomination forms available at www.mdba.net.au
