About Ms. Nagourney

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in New Jersey. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I also studied ancient Greek and Roman History at King's College London, in London, England. My last teaching position was in Roanoke Rapids, NC. I began teaching through the Teach For America program.

I have also worked as the section editor of a daily college newspaper, the national award-winning Indiana Daily Student. I also worked in the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator Frank R. Lautenberg. In addition, I have traveled to 18 different countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Ireland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Israel, Morocco and Turkey.
