Silvanus Naedek

Silvanus Naedek is a character in Star Wars Galaxies, and lives in the Valcyn Galaxy. He first entered the Imperial eye when a transport shuttle on which he was a passenger was "detained" by Imperial forces on charges of suspected smuggling. Since the "detainment" left the transport unfit for travel, Silvanus and a few other survivors were given no compensation, save enough credits to get them to one of 3 major galactic hubs, or one of 2 backwater worlds: Corellia, Naboo, Talus, Tatooine, or Rori.

This was Silvanus' first encounter with the Galactic Empire, and needless to say, it did not leave him with a favorable opinion of it. Shortly after arriving on Talus, he began training in terrain negotiation and basic artisan skills. He later took up marksmanship and field medicine. Later, after moving to Corellia (following an ill-fated trip there; after which he realized he did not have enough credits to purchase a return ticket), he joined the rebellion.

By this time Silvanus was both a Master Scout and a Master Marksman. In order to assist the rebellion in ousting the evil Emperor Palpatine, Silvanus entered Commando training. During his training, he was awarded the Rebel Badge of Courage. Working for the Alliance brought him to many different planets, including Lok, Dantooine, and the fourth moon of the gas giant Yavin.

About halfway through his commando training, Silvanus joined a Guild called the Range Runners, headed by Streve Ti'or and backed by Chilung, a hunter, and Nari Freemoon, the mayor of the guild's home city and an excellent doctor.

Silvanus eventually Mastered Commando. In the interim, Nari Freemoon went missing, presumed dead, and Chilung left the Guild, possibly due to overwork. Unfortunately, it was around this time that the Range Runners were infiltrated by someone who could very possibly have been an Imperial mole, Daike Ti'or. Daike managed to work his way into a position of power within both the Guild and their home city, Runner City. Daike was elected mayor, and soon thereafter stole upwards of 150,000 credits from the city treasury, as well as the deeds to all of the city's public service buildings. He also attempted to rob the local cantina, but the owner managed to kick him out first. In the end, the damage he dealt caused the disbanding of the already weakened Range Runners Guild.

Currently, Silvanus is a free agent, working at times for the Rebellion, at times for himself. A close associate he works with often is the Bothan DRIFTOR, whom he met on Bothawui a few years before his Empirical encounter.

After the loss of Runner City, Silvanus moved all his worldly possessions to his ship, the Rogue Mushroom. He is busy exploring the stars in his new home, away from all the political intrigues of Empirical life.
