About Me
My name is Anthony and I am a computer tech who has been licensed since June 7, 2008 and I upgraded to General July 5, 2008 and I got my call as N5VAG Octiober 18, 2008. My old call was KE5VAG and I am interested in DXing, Digital Modes, QRP, VHF Communications, Satellite, Echolink, and Emergency Communications. I am a Navy MARS Operator NNN0ZKR-T, a SKYWARN Spotter, and an ARES, and RACES member. I have a Kenwood TS 440SAT and a Homemade 20M dipole for my HF setup and I also have a Heathkit HW 12 75 Meter SSB Rig that I sometimes put on the air. I also have a Kenwood TS 820S that I use for an antique hybrid. I use an Alinco DR 590 2 Meter/440 Rig in the shack and a Kenwood TM 631A 2 Meter/220 Rig Mobile. I also have a Yaesu VX-2 2 Meter/440 HT. I have an Echolink node at 407036 that I usually connect up to N5VAG-L and Its on a Ringo Ranger 30 feet above ground with a output of 45 watts on 146.450 Simplex. This website is always under construction as I feel the need to add more DX and Emergency Information.

Echolink Information

I have an Echolink Node under N5VAG-L and its located at my QTH on a 10' pole with a 4 element 2 meter yagi vertically polarized. It puts 5 watts out on 145.000 with a 136.5 Tone.
