iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed megaman51413 on him and his newest flash, Mario's 1UP Adventure and these are his responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
I didn't. It was for a contest where the idea was to remake a very simply flash. The ideas in the actual flash I got from coming up with various things that would be humorous to people, and then making it so it was all connected.
What's so special about this animation that will make people like it?
It's got various types of humor that will hopefully make everyone at least chuckle a few times.
What will you do next in flash?
Take a break. After two straight weeks of nothing but that, I need one.
Do you like making flash animations or flash games more? Why?
I prefer games, simply because I'm a PROGRAMMER, not really a DESIGNER. Although based on the fact that this got daily feature, I suppose I can't say I can't design ;)
What's your favorite flash animation and/or game on NG?
Animation: Super Mario Hyadain... I really enjoyed the anime-style mario, and want someday to do something involving one.
Game: I suppose I'll go with Chaos Faction, simply because at the time I was incredible, and reminded me of Smash Brothers. Although there are plenty of games that I've enjoyed that compete with that.
Who inspired you? Why?
I'd have to say the previous entries in the contest inspired me the most, simply because when I started mine, I had already seen the others (they were actually the reason I decided to take part). I tried very hard to make a flash that could be compared to the other submissions, and I'd like to believe I was successful!
What will you do now to get more successful?
Take a break. Everyone knows rest is important in getting better :D
And congrats on making 1st Daily Feature!
Thanks!

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed Leo-and-Pals on him and his newest flash, Resident Evil S.A.R.S P3 and these are his responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
Welp, the first animation I created almost 3 years ago and really when it began then I didn't have any plans for it to go any further; essentially it was just a bunch of dumb ideas I threw together combined with slight spelling issues (I missed the T in STARS, decided to let it stick). I'm not entirely sure what was going through my head back then, but it's lead to part 3 which won me a daily first place!
What's so special about this animation that will make people like it?
I don't think there's anything enormously special about it; it just appeals to Resident Evil fans who would otherwise have a relative understanding of the jokes that have been put together (No matter how bad they are).
What will you do next in flash?
For a while I've been thinking about an original animation in the Resident Evil universe, not based on any of the canon facts but following them so that they aren't broken; it won't be a comedy though. Still pondering on it however, because I'd still like to do Resident Evil S.A.R.S. Part 4.
Do you make flash animations to inspire or to entertain? Why?
Entertain, I think if anybody is inspired by my animations to do something or rather then that's purely a case of luck, I enjoy putting parodies out there among all the others for people to watch and kill 5 minutes of their time (Hopefully time well spent).
What's your favorite flash animation and/or game on NG?
Bad Guys, best animation I stumbled across.
Who inspired you? Why?
I kinda, sorta, grew up with Bad Guys by Chris Nosal; those animations are an excellent example of time execution, having dialogue, actions, and sound all start at the perfect moment and it's that which helps to make them hilarious. Chris' first animation submitted to NG, 'A Pirates Life', also helped supply inspiration for one of my much more earlier Metal Gear animations, but that's another story. Tyler King, the creator of the Metal Gear Toast series, was what got me into making parodies; just made me realize it's fun to create ridiculous scenarios of your favorite franchise.
What will you do now to get more successful?
A course in animation would be a bright idea, which is something I'll be doing next year, but for the time being I think I'll just start working on another animation; best way to get better is to dive straight into it again. I mean, it's got to lead to something eventually.

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed BarfQuestion on him and his newest flash, SuperVillian IV parts 1 and 2 and these are his responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
The whole SuperVillain thing comes out of my frustration with everyone settling for boring, uneventful lives as they get older. What ever happened to the "you can do anything/change the world" speech they shove down your throat in elementary school? It was so true. I mean, being a firefighter or astronaut isn't everyone's cup of tea, but all you need to do is just get out there. Hit the streets. Put on a crappy mask. Shake some babies. No one said you had to change the world for the better, just make it more interesting. Live your passion in life to it's fullest.
What's so special about this animation that will make people like it?
I think people are drawn in by the drawing style/frame by frame/hand drawn animation (or at least I would hope so after 450-500 hours of work on it), but I would hope that they'll find the story and humor equally likeable as I do this to tell stories, not as an animation-phile.
What will you do next in flash?
Work on some other series ("Advent of Sock" and "Valentine's Day 2009"), and some free standing cartoons. I'm also working on a SpermRider game with Komix (who made the fantastic Triarachnid and Blockhead games) at the moment.
Do you make flash animations to inspire or to entertain? Why?
Mostly to entertain, but many times un/intentionally end up including themes or elements that are intended to inspire. I think you need a good balance of these to be people's times, but weighing it so that it's not preachy nor empty entertainment.
What's your favorite flash animation and/or game on NG?
Not to provide a generic answer, but everything Adam Phillips is fantastic.
Who inspired you? Why?
I think this all stemmed from watching Liquid TV as a kid. I just pretty much knew that this is what I wanted to do after that. Many years later I was inspired to take it online and start doing stuff on the internet after friends started introducing me to sites like Homestar Runner and Bonus Stages.
What will you do now to get more successful?
I'm just trying to put as much original work out there as I can, while making connections with other artists (so far I've been working a lot with bands, and as previously mentioned, game developers).

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed Drattigan on him and his newest flash, Brazil and these are his responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
The idea? Well, the cartoon was originally animated for a competition over on Weebls-Stuff. The basic concept was Weebl made the song, we animated it. In that sense, I was fairly limited when it came to ideas as it had to fit with the song.
THAT DIDN'T HOLD MY IMAGINATION TANK BACK THOUGH. After a lovely bath and a pint of warm joy, I jotted down a few ideas that I thought would be tasty when put together in a flash. I also doodled the storyboard on a bit of scrap paper for good measure.
Where the ideas came from though; Lord knows. They just did. I like creating stuff so they just come out of me like wet diarrhea.
What's so special about this animation that will make people like it?
It's different to how you'd expect it. Although the animation is in context with the song, alot of it isn't directly linked. For example, the lyric "There's a giant Jesus on top of a hill" is obviously referring to Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro, but instead of actually drawing that, I did a giant robot Jesus with massive fire power. PRETTY SWEET, HUH?
What will you do next in flash?
It depends. I never finish stuff. I guess the music video for Turning Japanese, though don't hold me to that.
Do you like making flash animations or flash games more? Why?
Animation. As much as I looove games, I couldn't programme for toffee.
Actually, I probably could animate if the reward was something as satisfying as toffee. I am partial to a bit of toffee.
What's your favorite flash animation and/or game on NG?
Ooh, I dunno. Probably something by Weebl or David Firth.
Who inspired you? Why?
Alot of people have but I can't really name them specifically. I just pick up certain techniques as I'm going along.
I'd say Matt Groening's had the biggest impact on my work though.
What will you do now to get more successful?
Pull my finger out and start finishing some cartoons. I can see I've got the potential, it's just a case of stepping up a gear.

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed Dei-Sama on her and her first and newest flash Shinukoto! and these are her responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
Suicide and depression is a familiar thing to me. It is a mock of my feelings but also a serious thing. It is OK I think to laugh at a serious thing if you remember it is serious.
What's so special about this animation that will make people like it?
I really is not special. I think it is liked by some people because it is familiar and silly also.
What will you do next in flash?
There will be a other cartoon maybe similar to Shinukoto!.
Do you make flash animations to inspire or to entertain?
I make animation because it is fun and when I entertain some one I feel wonderful.
What's your favorite flash animation and/or game on NG?
I do not know. I like wacky and cute and maybe crazy things.
Who inspired you? Why?
I like animation and cartoons. I inspire my self really .. there is no main person.
What will you do now to get more successful?
I will maybe make more animation. If it is enjoyed I will make more.
And congrats on making 4th Daily Feature!
Thank you !

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed (insert author name here) on him and his newest flash, Music Euphoria and these are his responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
I always watched videos about Rez on youtube, and not having a Dreamcast or Xbox myself, I tried to recreate it.
What's so special about this game that will make people like it?
It's more about enjoying the music and being entranced in the game itself rather than button mashing or getting an amazing score.
What will you do next in flash?
Still thinking on it, don't want to give stuff away.
Do you like making flash animations are flash games more? Why?
I make flash games mainly, it combines my passion for programming and also my love for playing games in general.
What's your favorite flash on NG?
I would have to say the animation "The Stranger Forest". It's very beautiful, has a great message and great storyline.
Who inspired you? Why?
Not any one person inspired me to get into flash. Like many other flash artists, I was always intrigued by Adam Philip's animations but then again game developers like Jmtb02 and The-EXP really inspire me with many of the games they create.
What will you do now to get more successful?
Who needs success?
And congrats on making 2nd Daily Feature!
Thanks.

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed HotDiggedyDemon on him and his newest flash, Jerry and the Closet and these are his responses:

How did you come upon the idea of the flash?
1: I don't remember, it was too long ago. I think I came up with the idea, and then, after it was solidified, put my Jerry character in there for the hell of it. Originally the father was supposed to be Jerry and the son was supposed to be Jerry jr, but I felt fans of the original would be upset that Jerry would have been magically brought back from the dead. Plus, I would prefer to have Jerry never talk. So I decided to have the cartoon take place 20 years earlier and have Jerry be the kid.
What's so special about this animation that will make people like it?
2: I don't know. Do people like it? you'll have to ask the people who like it, lol.
What will you do next in flash?
3: It's a seeeeeecret. I never tell people about my projects, that way they won't be disappointed when I inevitably cancel them
What's your favorite flash on NG?
4: "This is How It Will End" by AlanTheBox.
Who inspired you? Why?
5: AlanTheBox. He's the only artist I will absolutely rave and gush over. He's a genius. Him and David Firth are really the only newgrounds artists I like.
What will you do next to get more successful?
6: Nothing. I don't care about success. I only care about expressing myself with my cartoons. If people like what I make, thats cool, but if they didn't, I'd still be making them.

iCrew reporting in with another interview. I've interviewed Sexual-Lobster on him and his newest flash, Angry Dog-Lizard Dome and these are his responses:

How did you come upon what you are doing?
My friend Peter came up with the idea of a bloodthirsty lizard mayor and wrote some dialogue and we went from there.
What will you do next in your crazy life?
animate animate animate!
What's your favorite flash on Newgrounds?
hmmmm probably Dad's home.
Who inspired you?
in this case probably peter, i ended up writing 80% of it but it started with his idea
What are you going to do now to get more successful?
wear my hat at a jauntier angle.
