In the News - 9/1/08 Construction Page Uploaded

 We have uploaded the construction page with some minimal navigation as we agreed to our viewers. Germaine Webb from 4DeepStudio is completing the specialty LOGO for the site as we speak. Everyone should be able to see some pages starting the next couple of weeks.

In the News -8/31/08  First Segmented Story Completed

 Okay the first 20 pages of the story have been completed involving the introduction of the hero, Rocket Gold, the villain, Pontius, and the scene, Citrus City. To cannonball the webcomic, we started recruiting artists from among GIRAF and 4DeepStudio staff . Start looking in the BLOG page to see how the MetaPlot is unfolding as well request the reservation of your own 4 page segment to illustrate. Always stay in contact with us for any questions or suggestion on things.

 

In the News - 9/3/08  Fonts Chosen for Webcomic

We have gotten the decision to use several freeware fonts from 1001 Fonts . We are going to use Astronomical Town for the base lettering of the webcomic. Self destruct Button will be used for mechanical, and technological needs. WarMonger font is going to be used for dark pyche moments as well as possessed characters. We will round off the special effects with BLAMBLAM and Wildand Crazy fonts.

In the News -9/23/08 Deadlines Set for First Release

We have the first parts on the production track. We will go live with the webcomic collaborative in full swing by November 1st, 2009. In the meantime we will be taking Brian Proctor's first four pages of the chapter title Pennies From Heaven and use them to promote the site, work out the web kinks, thus readying the production work for a weekly update schedule. So here is the schedule for thei first segment to show everyone how things will look when they receive their email for the deadline after the page reservation has been confirmed. Great job everyone!

In the News - 10/8/08  Comic Upload Schedule Set for Site

It has been decided that we on the management team will upload webcomic pages twice a week. We will upload on Tuesdays and Fridays.  This will allow artists to have two complete weeks displaying credits for their artwork on the site aside from any promotional banners or self promotions through linking. We hope to showcase two artists' work per month. This way we maximize the art exposure for the submitting artists. Remember Artists...You can submit as many illustarted story segments as you wish throughout the project. Just reserver them !

In the News-   10/09/08   Webcomic Submission Formats

many have asked what are the dimensions and extensions that we can submit the comics in. We have decided that for ease of production we can only accept the following extensions/page sizes to maximize resolution for image on screen and any printing that mi9ght come later from the collected materials.

       Page Size:   1500 pixels x 2250 pixels ( no double page spreads in any submissions please!)

       Extensions:  JPG, GIF, TIF, PSD

We are officially up and running ladies and gentlemen! N2Deep webcomic is open for business. Everyone should check the production pages for their assignment deadlines and keep tabs on the Calendar page to see when your pages will be posted. Thanks everyone! Its going to be a great year!

In the News -01/13/09  Havent had a Chance to Even Post

We have been so busy on the drawing, inking, coloring, lettering , and posting of the twice weekly webcomic there has been no time for us to post many things here other than images. Go ahead and post your comments in the Bullpen Forum pages!!!!

 

In the News- 01/15/09 Newest sections completed

We already have received the penciled and inked artwork from Olivia Townshend, Marques Huff, Keith Daniell, and Don Chooi. Working on more pages are Shad Wright and Jaeon Alford. Veteran submission artists Jason Bullock and Brian Proctor will be submitting more pages too. Germaine Webb is doing an outstanding job with the bulk of the coloring of the pages. Joining him on the coloring duties will be Jaeon and Tony Bennett's brother D-. This turning out to be a great collaborative project for everyone.

In the News - 1/24/09 Local Artist Passes

Tony Bennett , contributor to the N2Deep  webcomic collaborative and member of 4DeepStudio, passed away today. After battling a five year struggle with Weggener's Disease, Tony passed away in Southern Regional Hospital last night. We are deeply saddened by this loss to the art community and to Mr Bennett's family. Our condolences go out to his wife and parents.

In the News - 1/30/09 Funeral for Tony Bennett

The family of Tony Bennett, local 4DeepStudio artist who passed on 1/24/09, was laid to rest this Saturday morning. He is in a better place, was the final comment made by his friend and fellow artist Germaine Webb from 4 DeepStudio. Tony will be missed!
