7/25/08  I will now be adding nr2003 to the files that can be downloaded here. the first car to kick it off is a Tony Stewart 2009 Fictional.

As a result of the lack of updates and downloads to the site, many cars, using unreliable file saving methods(i.e. savefile,yourfilelink) many files have dissappeared. If you post about it in the guestbook, i can find and remove the files. Thanks for your time.

Ok to clear up any confusion on this site. In September 2007, my caomputer crashed. died. stopped. i hadnt been on this site since then until today, July 24, 2008. I just fixed the computer. whoever posted as me in capital leters was not me. idk who it was. I havent been able to paint for over a year. I dont know what the controversy was or anything. If you would like to be a member of the crew then i will gladly accept an aplliication. I dont paint much, im not a great painter. im still learning. That is why i paint so little. also i had a couple of new cars, and 98 cars that were on my computer. i might finish the set. The site will be restarting up. and i was thrilled to see rvm racer29 on here again. So to clarify, whats happened in the past 10 months i have no idea about. thanks for your time.

Also today i have reorganized the site to make it neater and easier to use. In the Downloads section you can be directed towards car for either n2002 or n4. from there you will have optons of several kinds of cars to choose (ex- Cup, Fictionals , '98 set , etc...). I believe this will improve the overall greatness of the site.

Today i added a nascar 4 section and the first car in it. check it out in the downloads section. it is a dale jr #81 2008 fic. I also uploaded a legend car to the 2007 alternates carset for n02.

2/21 - Hi this is Jrboy08. you may have noticed the name change at the top of the site. Since TheBrood_ECG(Chris Akin) is creating his own site, www.nr2002paintshop.com, which I will continue to be a crew member at, he said i could take over this one. I will leave all the cars posted so far on here, and any new ones I paint or get someone to paint for here. I will be adding a guestbook where you will be able to leave your opinions about the site, and be able to recommend any new ideas, or paint requests. I will probably change the site template soon, but I hope you all wil enjoy the site. Also, anyone who would like to paint cars for the site would be appreciated. 02/14 - Hey all, I'm looking for atleast 10 people who are interested in starting a NR2002 league. If we can get a group of people who are interested than we will do this. We will later plan out a schedule and cars but only if enough people are interested. 02/04 - I have added the 2006 #22 Dave Blaney Caterpillar Dodge and the #42 Casey Mears Havoline Dodge and I have updated Alex's 2006 #07 Clint Bowyer Jack Daniels Chevy with the Direct TV logo. Credits to Magrafx, google, BOTW, RSC, Rura, Michael Parker, Yahoo, and Alex. The #22 and #42 have ratings. Get the cars on the 2006 Nextel Cup page.

 

02/03 - We would all like to welcome JRBOY08 to the NR2002 Paintshop. Some of you may know him from nascarnet. Anyway, we hope you enjoy your time here and we can't wait for you to throw out some paint jobs.

02/01 - The NR2002 Paintshop will be purchasing its own domain on Friday 02/03! The webpage has yet to assume a site address. We are still thinking about what we want it to be. If you have any suggestions about a webpage name (it will be a .com) e-mail your ideas to BNSPenfoldFan@aol.com and we will consider your idea. We will have a lot more on the new site, and hopefully we will get a live chatroom unlike this one, but hey what do you expect it's free. We will still update this site until the February 10th, 2006 and it will then be deleted.

Alex "Underdogfan" has painted 11 awesome 2006 Nextel Cup schemes. Included is the #07 Clint Bowyer, #1 Martin Truex Jr., #2 Kurt Busch, #4 Scott Wimmer, #5 Kyle Busch, #6 Mark Martin, #7 Robby Gordon, #8 Dale Earnhardt Jr., #10 Scott Riggs (patriotic scheme), #11 Denny Hamlin (Express scheme), and #12 Ryan Newman. These cars are converted from NR2003 so they might be a little bit pixely but nevertheless they are still nice cars. Cars do not have ratings nor pitcrews, but a later update will include both. The #14 Sterling Marlin scheme is in the picture but is not fully completed. Enjoy these cars, there are still a lot more to come!

01/27 - Keith "Gimble" is going to be editing the site layout throughout the week. Keith is going to be incharge of the site design from now on. Check out his site at www.tusla-online.com/rwar and download his game when he releases it! I would also like to welcome DEZ31 to the crew. He has decided to paint 2006 Nextel Cup and Busch cars. With the three of us working on the 2006 cars, it shouldn't be too much longer before the 2006 Nextel Cup set is complete. Welcome aboard DEZ31! We are still looking for more crew members.

01/26 - We are looking for some NR2002 painters here at Chris Akin Inc. NR2002 Paintshop! We need some painters who specializes in painting fictionals, as there are not many fictionals for NR2002. The 2006 Nextel Cup Series set is currently about 1/3 of the way done, and there will be a lot of 2006 schemes added by Saturday morning!
