As Promised: Chapter 2 part 4/4!
Author's Note: This is the part where the relationship between Sonic and Elise will begin to grow. Yes I said that the story could be done better, and yes I think it could be done with the two having a relationship, and yes I think it could be done with Elise still being human. If the idea still disturbs you then that's too bad.
I'm not saying this as if I was someone who supported bestiality (that's a whole new monster altogether though), I'm saying this as someone who finds potential in a touching relationship in a matter like King Kong. May or may not turn out well, but I definitely think it will allow for a more believable story than the one in the actual game.
As far as pairings themselves go, let's just say I've been to the world of pairing elitism and it's a place I don't feel like dragging myself into again. I've got my favs, but I'm not going to try and force them down people's throats. Aw well, roll the clip!
Chapter 2 (4/4)
“Damn! We have lost scepter!” Eggman reached out for his microphone and ordered, “All units! Fall back! This place will not be spared! Fall back!!!” With that, Eggman and his robots flew into the air as the scepter's shards began to emit an electric field. Shadow and Rouge were left behind and forced to find safety outside of the field, rushing towards the exit. What Shadow noticed though, was the electric field dispersed in favor of a black vortex and it began to search for prey. The vortex flew through the air and surged its way through several of Eggman's robots, causing them to explode in mid-air. It eventually began to fly into the ground just a few feet in front of Shadow and Rouge. The impact sent Rouge a few steps back and Shadow was forced to stop in his tracks to prepare for whatever was coming out of the vortex.
As soon as the two stopped moving, Rouge noticed that Shadow's shadow was separated from his body. She stated, “Shadow! What- What's happening?” Unable to answer, Shadow was as confused as Rouge was and readied himself for whatever was coming. To his surprise however, the figure came out of Shadow's shadow as if it were a direct copy of Shadow, but without any mouth and with a much darker look about him. The figure looked up and saw its former possessor before him and simply chuckled in his first moments.
The figure began to speak, “How ironic fate can be... Resurrected through your shadow...” It bent over in an informal bow saying, “I thank you Shadow the Hedgehog...”
Taken aback by what the creature was displaying, Shadow asked it with a sense of force in his voice, “What are you? How do you know me?”
With his head still down, the creature began to walk forward and answered, “I am Mephiles... Mephiles the Dark... Oh don't tell me you have forgotten me. I owe you so much Shadow the Hedgehog.” Mephiles began to walk up to Shadow close enough to meet him face to face. Knowing Rouge would be in danger, Shadow stepped back to keep his eye on her and make sure she would not be harmed.
Mephiles lifted up his hand and told Shadow, “To show my thanks... I present to you, the entrance to your worst nightmare!” From Mephiles's hand, a blue orb was formed and it expanded to envelope Rouge, Mephiles, and Shadow. One instant Shadow was in the castle, but was immediately shown a bright white light that clouded his eyesight. With that, the three disappeared and the blue orb shrunk into nothing.
A purple orb formed in the middle of a destroyed building and both Rouge and Shadow fell out feet first. Having regained his eyesight, Shadow looked to his right and saw Rouge was safe, but seeing the city that he and she landed in was far from alive. Looking around, the two could see a ruined city with destroyed buildings and broken highways that made the city look like it was bombared by great forces. Such a thought reminded Shadow of the terrible power the Eclipse Cannon was once capable of. Rouge looked around and asked, “What is this place?”
Trying his best to answer, Shadow said, “I think he teleported us somewhere. I can't say where though.”
Rouge nodded and said, “Well we should at least figure out where we are. You'll cover me right?”Shadow agreed saying, “Sure thing.” As Rouge ran off though, Shadow was left to wonder, “Mephiles... What is he?”
Sonic continued to hold Elise as he ran across the green fields. The blue hedgehog looked behind him and the desert he and Tails entered was out of sight now. Sonic began to slow down and gently lay the young Duchess Elise on her feet. Now less intense from the speed that Sonic had brought her through, Elise looked down and saw the hedgehog that carried her. The hedgehog was a curious thing that stood before her, he was about a few inches shorter than her and obviously had features that made him different from humans, but looking at him, there was something in Sonic that made him look different than a simpleminded creature. Or it was possibly just Elise's nature that she wanted to build connection with anyone willing to come to her rescue. Sonic interrupted her study by asking her, “I'm sorry I put you through all that Elise. Are you all right?”Elise nodded and said, “Yes. Thank you so much Sonic. I do not know what would have
happened if you had not saved me.” Though she was at first busy gazing at Sonic's face, she noticed something on Sonic's left arm, he was apparently scratched during his run. Elise told him, “Oh Sonic you're hurt!”
Sonic noticed Elise was looking at his arm and looked at what she saw and answered, “Huh? Oh, it's nothin'.”
Despite his answer, Elise bent over and protested, “No, that will not do.”, took out her handkerchief and began to wrap it around Sonic's wound. While she was tending to his wound, Sonic wandered his gaze and scratched an itch on his nose with one of his fingers. As soon as Elise finished tending Sonic's wound, she told him, “I'm sorry, this was my fault.”
Sonic looked down at her and saw Elise was frowning with guilt. Hoping to sway her sadness away, Sonic told her, “Hey come on! Smile!” As Elise looked up at him, she saw Sonic smiling with an appeal that a young child would find in its parents trying to cheer them up. As Sonic's green eyes gazed at her face, a butterfly unexpectedly landed on Sonic's nose and landed there with a sense of security and relaxation. Elise looked at the butterfly with keen interest and gently flicked the butterfly off of Sonic's nose, letting it fly free into the air. She stepped up and looked into the air and saw the butterfly fly off, leaving her with a sense of happiness of seeing such a creature fly free. This sensation brought a smile to her face and she heard, “There you go. You should keep a smile on your face like that.” Nodding, Elise and Sonic began to walk side by side. Figuring that now was as good as anytime ever to learn about who Elise was, Sonic asked, “So Eggman said something about “Flames of Disaster”. What are those?”
Elise decided that she could trust Sonic and began to explain, “Well Solaris is the name of the sun god our country Soleanna honors. There is a legend that Solaris' rage can destroy the world. His wrath comes in the form of the Flames of Disaster...” Elise was hesitant to go into detail with what also happened, but continued, “A year ago, that wrath was almost unleashed... For whatever reason I cannot remember much of what happened, other than I lost my father... Now it would seem that man wants to cause the same disaster again.”Curious about how Elise went through such harsh times, Sonic asked, “How was it unleashed?”Elise went on to explain, “My... My father wanted to use the Flames of Solaris for good... To fulfill a prophecy long held by my people... Instead he and many other people died... I never thought to lose someone so close to me at the time.” This brought a frown to Elise's face and Sonic felt a slight sense of guilt asking the question.
Trying to comfort Elise, Sonic told her, “That's hard to imagine. I'm sorry to hear about that.”Elise responded, “Indeed. I'm sure you've only lived a life secure with your mother and father.”Sonic shook his head and said, “My mother and father... Well, I never knew them.”With a sense of shock in her voice, Elise asked, “You... Never knew them?”Sonic simply told her, “Yeah, I grew up by myself. I have a lot of friends though, and I never want to lose any of them.”
Elise softly said, “I'm so sorry...”
Curious about what was making Elise seem sadder, Sonic asked, “What's wrong?”Elise explained to him, “My mother died in childbirth and my father only died last year. Yet you never even met your parents. I cannot think of anything worse...” This made Elise look sadder than before and Sonic was certain it was possible she would cry in a moment for his sake. Deciding that talking was no longer an option, Sonic grasped hold of Elise's left hand. “Ah! Sonic!”
Sonic began running and told her, “Here follow me!”
Elise tried to keep up with Sonic's speed but protested, “Sonic! I cannot run that fast!”
Sonic began to run a bit faster and assured her, “Hey that's alright, just raise your head up and run!” Though she felt she was going as fast as she already could, Sonic began to build up speed and made her run faster. This sense of speed almost made her feel as if she was pushing her bodily limits, but running along side Sonic helped her feel light weight and she was running faster than she would have ever thought possible. Sonic asked, “Think you can keep up with me?”Elise answered, “I will try all I can Sonic.”
Sonic told her, “No time for trying, it's time to take action!” The two continued to run across the plains at great speed, up to the point where Elise was amazed to see herself running so fast. They both continued running for what felt like a very long time but had only gone for about five minutes.
As the two began to run up a hill, Sonic asked Elise, “Hey, wanna try something really fun?”Before answering, Elise asked, “What is it?”Sonic responded, “Too late!” The two began running at a greater speed, as if Elise thought it possible, and Sonic made a giant leap into the air still holding onto Elise's hand. The two seemed to be more than ten feet in the air as they came to the base of the hill.
Elise screamed, “AAAAAH!!!” until she and Sonic landed on the ground with a thud, causing Elise to fall over on her back. Elise was gasping with a sense of fear and excitement from what she had just experienced.
Not given enough time to wonder how she felt, Sonic asked her, “That was fun wasn't it?”
Elise answered, “I... I don't seem to be... hurt...”
Impressing on the question, Sonic asked, “You gotta admit, you had fun doing it didn't you?”Elise began, “I...”Sonic asked, “Well didya?”Elise began again, “Um...”Sonic asked, “Didya?”
What some women might had found offensive, Sonic's nature was causing her to feel more secure in his presence. Not only that, but the charming smile on his face was made her feel happier and even brought her to a giggle, “Heh... hehehe...”
Pleased to see what he wanted, Sonic told her, “Now that's more like it. Frowning just doesn't suit you Elise.”
Letting out a small laugh, she told him, “Hahaha... Thank you so much Sonic.”
Laughing with her a bit, Sonic asked, “Simply smiling feels better doesn't it? You sure looked pretty excited back there.”Elise answered delighted, “Yes. I have never ran so fast in my life.”
Sonic told her, “There's a lot of fun with running. I've always lived life like, “If you're gonna worry, just run!”.”
Questioning his philosophy, Elise asked him, “You wouldn't suggest in running away from problems would you?”Sonic assured her, “Of course not, but it's a whole lot better than just sitting and doing nothing I think.” This led Elise into an interesting state of mind. It seemed as if the blue hedgehog knew some way that would let her be a more open person. All people needed some type of outlet to deal with dire situations, Sonic's obviously running. Having witnessed what she just did, it was probably then she realized this. She wanted to thank Sonic for this, but heard him say, “Hey, is that Soleanna up ahead?”
Looking ahead, Elise saw the city that she thought she would never see again. “Hm? Oh yes.” She turned to Sonic and thanked, “Thank you so much Sonic. It is now possible for me to return to my people. I don't know how I could ever repay you.”
Sonic told her, “Hey don't mention it. Like I said, I’m just the kind of guy who helps whenever, wherever is all. 'Course I always keep an eye out for my friends to. Wanna be friends Elise?”Nodding, Elise answered, “Hm... Okay!” The two began to walk towards the city in hopes of finally seeing an end to what they had just seen today. “The kind of guy.”... There are things about him that make him seem human. Wondering why Elise would think about such a thing, she continued to stroll down to the city with her newfound friend.
Elise and Sonic were walking down to a local cafe of the city and one person asked, “Is that Duchess Elise?”
Another person answered, “Yes, it is. She's being followed by a hedgehog it appears.”
When Sonic noticed the people up ahead, Sonic commented, “They look happy to see you.”Elise thanked him and said, “My people certainly will be. I shall introduce you to them Sonic.”Sonic initially turned it down saying, “Well I'm not one for public attention so-”But Elise insisted, “Oh please, I would love for them to know you.”Deciding it wouldn't hurt to meet several more people, Sonic accepted her offer saying, “Eh, alright.”
Before Elise could approach the crowd, parts of the street came flying up from the ground. They landed at the feet of the crowd as if to warn them to step back. The crowd responded by panicking and running away to leave Elise and Sonic to themselves.
“I finally found you.” the gray hedgehog clenched his left hand into a fist and pointed a finger on his right hand at Sonic proclaiming, “You... destroyed my world!”
“Who are you? And what the heck are you talking about?”“My name is Silver. For the sake of the world, I will destroy you!!!” With that, Silver used his psychic powers to summon chairs into the air and began to throw them at Sonic in his attempts to kill his blue counterpart.
As the battle begin, Sonic commented, “I take it you're not here to talk are you?” and ran away from the chairs that were flying at him. The chairs hit the ground and smashed into pieces while Sonic began to run towards Silver and jumped into the air to attack Silver. Controlling Sonic's body with his powers would have brought a much swifter end to the battle than Silver wanted. But only being able to continue attacking with what was around him, he gathered several tables and flung them towards Sonic. Sonic dodged the tables as they came flying, but the third one that came his way almost hit him, forcing him to jump up from the table's edge. This left an opening for Silver when he threw a chair at Sonic, sending him flying in the other direction.
As soon as he hit the ground, Silver proclaimed, “It's time for you to die!” and gathered several pavement tiles to begin crushing Sonic. Sonic luckily got to his feet in time and jumped out of the way of the tiles. As he ran towards Silver, tiles kept flying behind him, but Sonic leaped into the air to be able to land a powerful kick into Silver's left cheek.
“Doesn't take much does it?” Sonic taunted as he tried to dissuade Silver's desire for killing him. Silver was knocked off balance and let out a low groan, but the blow didn't stop him from trying to destroy his target. He immediately stood back on his legs and used his power to lift a boulder up from the ground where the tiles were removed. “Okay... Maybe it does.” With that statement, Sonic ran around Silver trying to avoid impact with the boulder and began to run towards Silver.
Silver knew what Sonic wanted to achieve, and he would not let it happen. He jumped up into the air to stand on top of the boulder and warned, “See if you can outrun this for long!” Silver began to ride the boulder like a surfboard intent on crashing into the nearest land.
“Alright, try and catch me then!” Sonic taunted. He began to run towards the buildings nearby to make sure he wasn't to close to Elise when the boulder's impact would happen. Sonic ran around the building and saw Silver crash through the building on his boulder. I got to distract him somehow... Maybe... Sonic jumped into the building to his left and began to run further into the building while Silver continued to crash through the buildings to catch his target. As soon as Sonic saw people in the next room, he jumped ready to land on Silver's boulder.
Silver saw Sonic jumping into the air from the debris, but also saw several people who were casually sitting enjoying their afternoon. Silver stopped moving his boulder to ensure the safety of the people, only to let Sonic jump onto his boulder. Sonic taunted, “I knew you didn't have it in you.” and tried to push Silver off with his right hand. When he did, Silver blocked it so he could chop Sonic at the neck, which Sonic blocked, the result was the boulder being lifted up further into the air so that Silver could finally throw Sonic off and crush him beneath the boulder's weight. The two exchanged blows until finally Sonic made a low kick that Silver jumped over, letting Sonic have an opening to send a punch between Silver's eyes. This blow caused the boulder to begin falling towards the debris. As the boulder fell to the ground, Silver began to slide the middle part of the boulder down so that he could crush Sonic within the boulder, but Sonic jumped out before the boulder imploded from Silver's might and sent stones flying in every direction, one of them hitting Silver in the chest, sending him flying backwards into one of the other buildings. Sonic landed a kick on Silver's chest and sent Silver down to the ground in the middle of one of the buildings. Sonic landed on the roof to look down at the floor three stories below him to see Silver plunged about three feet below the earth. Sonic jumped down and offered a hand saying, “Hey are you alright?” With that, Silver summoned his powers with all his anger and without any thought sent all of the foundations of the house down upon him and Sonic. Sonic knew this was no time for help and jumped out of the hole avoiding as much of the debris as possible. When all was said and done, there were several piles of debris that were once houses and a gray hedgehog buried beneath one of them.
As the pink hedgehog Amy strolled down the street trying to find her beloved Sonic, she talked to herself saying, “Sigh... I can't believe it's so hard to find Sonic... He seems to have been running around everywhere lately. I hope I'm not putting you through too much trouble am I Silver? ... Silver?”
“Hey Elise, are you alright?” The moment Sonic asked this, he felt a sudden push from his left side. This sent Sonic flying into a pillar and found himself hurt badly by the impact.
Before Elise could answer, she found herself running over to Sonic, “Oh no! Sonic!”
A few feet away, a figure asked, “Hmph... Is that all you have? You're truly the doom of the world?”
Confused and bewildered, Sonic could not believe what he was seeing. The same gray hedgehog was standing before him, but as if there wasn't a scratch on him from the previous fight. Sonic managed to let out, “W...What?”
Before Sonic had the chance to ponder what was happening, Silver proclaimed, “Hm... Whatever the case, the future is now safe.”
Before he dealt the final blow, a scream came out saying, “Ah! Help Sonic!” Sonic looked to his left and saw Elise being carried away by one of Eggman's robots.
Trying to get away from Silver, he began running assuring, “Don't worry Elise!” as he began to rush to save his friend again. Despite his initial speed, Silver stopped Sonic in his steps when he sent up a pillar from the earth, causing Sonic to run into it face first.
Silver grabbed Sonic's head, pulled it out of the pillar and asked, “You really think you can ignore me now? Don't worry, I'll make this quick and painless!”
Before Silver could begin attacking Sonic into the ground to kill him, he heard a scream, “NOOOOOOOOO!!!” From Silver's right side, a yellow hammer was flying towards him. Silver grasped the hammer with his power to stop it in mid-air while Sonic tried to run away with the time he was given.
He would have ran, but he noticed the one who threw the hammer and asked, “Amy?” Looking up, Silver noticed the pink hedgehog was standing defiant in his way.
Silver asked her, “Why did you stop me? This is the one I was looking for! He needs to die for the sake of the future!”
Amy stomped he right foot into the ground and yelled in defiance, “NO!!! I won't let anyone hurt my dear Sonic!”
Sonic asked out of the conversation, “Heh. New friend of yours Amy?”
Amy answered, “I thought he was. But anyone who tries to kill you isn't a friend of mine! Sonic, please get out of here! I'll push him away!”
Sonic said, “No way Amy, didn't you see what that guy can do?”
Silver was frustrated by what he had just gone through. He was inches away from destroying the Iblis Trigger, but the irritating hedgehog who was following him from the beginning was in his way. He would give nothing to defeat the blue hedgehog, but he would not do anything to hurt anymore people than ones that had to be. Shaking off his frustration, he said, “You win today... But she won't be around next time to save you...”
Sonic asked, “So you won't hurt her?”
Silver reluctantly answered, “I won't...”
Sonic nodded to Amy and said, “Amy, take care of yourself. If anything goes wrong, come running to find me.”
Amy responded, “You can count on me.” Sonic used this chance to run away from the battleground and to find the captured Duchess yet again from Eggman.
Silver and Amy were the only two left in the town square, Silver asked her, “Why? Why did you stop me?Amy responded with a question, “Sonic was the one you were looking for? Why did you have to kill him?”
Silver told her, “Yes. He's the one who destroyed my future.”Amy was bewildered hearing this and stated, “He wouldn't do that!”
Silver told her, “It's true! He's the one who destroyed the future! I have to kill him or we are all doomed!”
Amy went on to explain, “I won't believe you! ... Even if it was true... I wouldn't kill the one I love for the sake of the future... And if you're going to continue searching for him, I'll have nothing to do with it!”
Silver asked in his confused state, “You're willing to let the world burn just for his sake?!”
Amy never wanted to answer such a complicated question, but she brought herself to say, “If I had that choice... I would...” With that, Amy ran off to leave Silver by himself and without any anyone nearby.
As she left him, Silver was left in the middle of the town square by himself, only wondering to himself, Is that really right? ...To sacrifice the whole world just for the one you care for so much? Even if I was lied to... How else can I save my future?
Wazzup folks? I was hoping to put up my next update with the Part 3/5 of my 2nd chapter of Sonic '06. Unfortunately, there's been a minor bump in the road that's sent the hedgehog flying off his feet. My laptop just contracted TWO viruses that my hardrive wasn't able to handle. So in order to save it, my dad and a friend of his are working on it to take out the virus's and see if they can do it without losing my data... I gotta remeber I have a thumb drive for a reason! *thumps head on table* So whatever the case, the next part won't be up for a while since I have to see if my data is lost or not. If it's saved, It'll just be a little longer before the update since I was pretty far in it... Unfortunatley if they are lost I'll have to start over again and it could take a bit longer. But now I'd just like to get onto more entertaining subjects since I do have a few gaming updates I'd just like to get out:- <_< I got the "Bad meaning bad" badge. Oh well, I guess that's what you get for liking Escape From Bug Island and Monster Huner Freedom 2. But hey, I now have my first row of badges! w00t!1- I got several new games to play in my spare time: Castlevania (N64), Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Sonic Heroes (GC), Shadow the Hedgehog (GC), Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rogue Leader, De Blob, and Wario Land: Shake It!.*I just beat Castlevania 64 and got the bad ending with Carrie. Screwattack listed this game as the worst jump to 3D... I don't know, I actually like this game. The game does have some flaws, but I wouldn't say they're enough to make it a terrible game. This game is like a combination of the best parts of Super Mario 64 and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Super Mario 64 because it has solid controls and neat platforming, and Ocarina of Time because it has cool combat, enemies, challenges, and bosses. Yeah it does have an imperfect camera and it is pretty hard, but I found the game to be pretty fun. It also has some replay value with 4 possible endings because of two playable characters and factors that decide the outcome, even though I'm not really much of a person who plays games more than once after I beat it. My personal score is 9.0/10.*I have not played a whole of of Lament of Innocence, I mostly just wanted to make sure it worked since I got it used. It looks pretty cool so far though, and I really like the character designs.*I found Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door at a garage sale for just $10. Really neat game that puts a spin on the RPG genre by having players use the GC controller in different ways and pressing buttons at the right time.*Haven't played a whole lot of Sonic Heroes, but my copy works thankfully.*If there was one badge I could give Shadow the Hedgehog right off the bat before before reviewing it, it would be the extreme baditude badge.*Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rogue Leader is the sequel to Rogue Squadron II. I rented and loved Rogue Squadron II as a kid, and I decided to check out this game since it looked like it had even more to offer. I actually like a lot of the concepts like choosing which vehicle you can pilot and being able to blast stormtroopers. Pretty awesome game I gotta say.*De Blob is simply put one of the best games available for the Wii right now. Painting the town in whatever color you please is just so much fun, and there are many features that keep players coming back for more. What makes this game such a big achievement in my opinion though, is that this game was made by THQ, accused by many as the Akklaim of our generation. Just goes to show that developers are taking the Wii seriously *wink**I haven't played a whole lot of Wario Land: Shake It!, but it plays really cool. I don't mind the "gimmicky" controls that some people are complaining about, and I would like to check out some of the boss battles.- I got several new hand held games: Kirby Super Star Ultra, Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood, and Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. *SSU is a remake of the SNES game which is a compilation of six Kirby games that are pretty short but stay true to Kirby fun. There are also several new games that have been added into the mix, like the three mini games and some new platforming games from what I read.*Sonic Chronicles is a pretty sweet game from what I've played. The graphics are really good, the character models are great, and the battle system is as cool as it was hyped up to be. The story might sound cliche on paper, but in practice, it's actually playing out better than most Sonic games as of late, in fact it's probably the best story since Sonic Adventure 2. If you were looking forward to this game, it may not be Sonic's big comeback, but it's definately a great game in its own right.*I couldn't find any of the DS Castlevania's, but I did manage to find Circle of the Moon, the most highly rated GBA game on GS. So far it is pretty awesome, it plays much like Symphony of the Night, though it can be pretty hard going in. Currently playing this along with Sonic Chronicles. That's pretty much all I've got. Soon I'll have all of the DS game's I wanted this year, now I just got to wait for Castlevania: Order of Ecclessia, Spectrobes: Beyond the Portal, Bleach Dark Souls and Mushroom Men: Rise of the Fungi to come out and try getting Time Hollow and Dementium the Ward since these games look awesome as well. Wii games, I've got a list for this area as well, this holiday season is gonna be sweet!
That's the news from Myviewing as of October 5, 2008.
Hey guys, I've decided to try out a new blog style just to see if it works on this site. I took some pictures and contributed them to a website called Imageshack, and pasted them onto this page. So for the test, you will get to see a slideshow of my new PSP:
That's it in pre-opened condition, the Daxter bundle pack along with a copy of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. Nothing beats coming home from Best Buy with new gaming material.Grrrrrr.... Except I can't stand the packaging... DIE!!!Packaging is gone now. There's everything that comes with the bundle pack. An AC Adapter, a battery pack, and I forgot to show the memory card. The battery pack is thankfully the only battery pack the PSP ever needs, and I was worried for a bit because I thought the PSP required batteries, but it actually turns out that the AC adapter is what charges the battery. Daxter, the prequel to Jak II, one of the most critically acclaimed PSP games to date, and I fully agree. And Family Guy: The Freakin' Sweet Collection, what's supposed to be the top 5 episodes of Seth MacFarlane. I've only seen one so far, and it's actually kind of funny. (Yes, I've never seen the show before)Crisis Core is ready for its close up. It's my favorite game on the PSP right now. There's the UMD for Daxter. The disks stay in the case you see here, and the PSP is able to read them when inserted. And once they're ready..Daxter says HI!
These pictures were taken yesterday, and I actually beat Daxter a little while ago. Not because Daxter is a short game, but because it's one of the most addicting platformers ever. One time when I was a kid, I stayed over at my cousin's house, and he let me play his copy of Jak and Daxter, I actually stayed up and played it all night while my sister and he were sleeping. You can imagine the headache I had afterwards can't you? That's an example of how addicting the game is.
So the PSP is a pretty sweet handheld. I don't prefer it over my DS, but it's a good handheld for one that wasn't made by Nintendo. Basically, the PSP is like a handheld home console since it can hold up graphics as good as Daxter's (You can't tell by the screenshot, but they are).
I didn't plan on getting one a while back because even though it had games I was interested in, they didn't make me all: "My crap! Gotta get my own!!!" (Not a referance to the commercials). After I found out Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII was a game (I didn't see any screenshots, so I thought it was a movie for some reason) and God of War: Chains of Olympus was coming out, that sealed the deal for me. So now I own both handhelds, there's power in having broad horizons. Yes, I don't own a 360 or PS3 yet, but I plan on doing so.All I gotta say, hope you enjoy.
