Summer Rain

Today (Tuesday, April 10th), as celticwomanforum.com fans report it, is Hayley's 20th birthday!  Congratulations, Hayley - I hope that everything is going wonderfully!

As you can see my site is very new, and I've not quite mastered the whole html thing yet. If you have any advice or critiques please go to "Credits" on the navbar and leave a comment and/or rating.  I've also got a forum, if you see anything missing from it please post in the suggestion box there and tell me what to add.  Also, under "Amusement" is a poll and shoutbox.  Feel free to chat there!

I was privileged enough to see Hayley live with Celtic Woman and the whole group is amazing.  They all have beautiful voices and are very talented and clearly passionate about what they are doing.  If anyone ever gets a chance to see Celtic Woman, even if it's during the stint where Meav (also an excellent artist), I highly recommend them live!

This site is dedicated to Hayley Westenra and her music. 

Hayley is a talented young woman who hails from New Zealand.  She sings traditional, modern, and original songs.  Her music has been put under the genres of World, Classical, Celtic, and sometimes New Age.  She sings in English, Latin, Italian, Gaelic, and Maori, the language of native New Zealanders.  She has been singing since she was a child and her three major albums are Pure (2003), Odyssey (2005), and Treasure/Celtic Treasure (2007). 

She recently joined the World music group Celtic Woman and is currently touring with them.
