Hello there!!!

JG's Jens, German Angora Buck
Updated on 8/28/08(everything...still working on it)
I am in search of a nice German Angora doe :) .
Check out our latest news here: http://mystieraynefarm.blogspot.com
Welcome to MystieRayne Farm's Website!! We are a rabbitry located in Lorain County Ohio, which is about 25 minutes from Cleveland.
We focus primarily on the English Angoras, including the beautiful Blue-Eyed White variety and Brokens! We also raise German and Giant Angoras along with French and Satin Angoras, on a very small scale. We usually have less than 10 of those combined...if that! :)
My heart is and always will be with my English Angoras. As far as smaller rabbits, we raise lovable and cuddly Jersey Woolies and American Fuzzy Lops. My youngest has his "gang"(2) of Netherland Dwarfs as well. Sometimes there will be other varieties here. Some came before the thought of showing was even there, others are "donated" to us. We do take bunnies in when they need a home and would not have one otherwise.
We do not always have bunnies for sale. I breed my rabbits on a limited basis. Since we raise such high maintenance breeds, I never want to get in over my head. It also enables us to have a couple breeds and take care of them correctly.
The main person you will find here is me, Amanda. I finished college and have an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology. I hope to become a Registered Veterinary Technician very soon. This is no small feat, for I also have 3 young children! I guess you can say I have alot of animal experience. I worked as a manager and assistant manager at a petstore for many years. I was also a member of 4H in my younger days :)
My daughter, Mariah, is the oldest and most active with the bunnies. She is really into her Jersey Woolies. All 3 of my children are members of 4H and my daughter had her first fair experience in 2007. My 2 boys, Austin and Tyler help out alot with the rabbits and want to start showing!

I can honestly tell you that there is nothing like spending time out in the rabbit barn every day. I love it!!
How did I come up with the name?? Well, it all started with my first horse and 4H partner, Mystie. She came from the Bureau of Land Management in Nevada. She is a bay Mustang mare that I trained myself to use in parades, shows, pony rides, and as a best friend!! I no longer own her, but what better way to honor her than name my bunny habit after her :) I miss her dearly and hope to own another equine companion someday :)
Well, feel free to look around and don't hesitate to email me here!!mystieraynefarm@yahoo.com
