With >70 new photos no less!!!!

Hi everyone!

Hope you´re all doing great and that you´re ready to view some images. ;) As i mentioned in the beginning of this entry, i have recently updated my New Photos-gallery with more than 70 new images! Yup...one could say that i´ve been mighty productive lately. :p To make it easier for you to browse through them all i have divided them into different sub-categories:

Hi everyone!

I trust you´ve all had a great weekend? I´m soon off to work yet another grueling graveyard-shift...but before i do that i wanted to show you a few new images that i´ve created lately. I sure hope you will like some of them at least.

First off....another tribute to the traditional lightbulb which i´m gonna miss tremendously. And a wee flower....

And so a few portraits of a couple of lovely young ladies that my trusty friend and make-up artist Mari "pimped out".

Aha, that´s right. You can no longer buy traditional light bulbs where i live. For enviromental reasons i reckon, the old lightbulbs has now been replaced with low energy light bulbs that costs a fortune compared to the old ones. This is a huuuuge tragedy for me....since i appareantly loooove breaking bulbs. But now that just wont fit my budget anymore. Therefor i made this image to represent the sadness i´m now feeling.....imagine all that smoke being my broken soul if you will.

Oh well...lights out anyway as i´m now off to bed...yawn. G´night everyone!

I just remembered that yesterday, when me and Liam went up to the quarry to play in the mud (Liam has got to have the biggest sandbox of all the kids in his class ), i brought my camera so that i could take some macros of the rusty old machinery that can be found there....and here´s a couple of images.

...and also a wee macro.....

Oh my....will you look at this? Two blog-entries in just one day. Don´t I got lots of sparetime it seems. But that´s all spended now as i´m gonna head into my "studio" and take some photos on behalf of one of my publisher...hope they will like the result later on.

There....i have FINALLY updated my website with alot of new photos and i also changed some of the design. Hope you like it.

Now i only need to get started on putting together that Newsletter for all you subscibers. Can´t belive more than 200 signed up for it and still i´m not being more effecient when it comes to publishing it. Oh well...i suppose i could always start on that tomorrow....now i´m off to bed....yawn.

...for being so lousy at updating my website. I literally have hundreds of new photos that i need to update my portfolio with....and at the same time clean some old ones out. Having an up to date portfolio seems even more important now that i hopefully have begun another collaberation with a world renowned publisher. And the web-design could also use a make-over wouldn´t you agree? ;)

So...i´m gonna take a wee break from photography and instead try to get this site in order and as fresh as possible. Oh and i also need to get that Newsletter out already! Yeeesh! :p

Hi everyone!

So...first of all i feel i need to make a little announcement:

I truly am amazed and overwhelmed that so many of you seem to like my humble work. And it flatters me beyond words to know that so many of you sees me as some kind of inspiration and that you turn to me for help and advice. Thank you oh so much!!! However.....i honestly don´t have the time to answer all your questions....or give you my opinion regarding YOUR work....nor do i even have the time to suggest suitable gear for you....and so on. I wish i did...but i don´t....i really don´t.  

Please please please don´t take me for being rude or arrogant...because i´m not...i´m sweeter and more generous than most. But a common misconception seems to be that i´m a professional photographer that does this for a living. I´m not! I wish i was...but appareantly i´m not good enough to actually get hired for paid gigs. So i do have a "regular" work that take up my time...and also a family. I´m sure you understand that i rather spend as much time as possible playing with my 2,5 year old son instead of lingering infront of my computer answering emails from strangers. And i do get alot of emails from people asking me to tutor them in taking highspeed photos....setting up lights for model-shoots....what lens to use for various types of photography....how to edit photos using Photoshop....i even get a couple of emails every week from people all over the world asking me to hire them as my assistants. Some days i can get up to 30 emails of this nature and considering how little time i do get infront of my computer every day i rather spend that time editing photos or replying emails that can actually benefit my career such as magazine interviews messages from potential publishers.

Once again....i´m NOT being rude or arrogant...i´m simply explaining why i no longer will have the time to reply to messages asking advice or help.  Okay...now...are we still cool?

Howdy folks!!!

Guess what??? I just updated my "New Photos-gallery" with OH SO MANY new photos! You better check it out if you want to make sure not to miss anything. ;)

This time there were so many new images added that i decided i would organize them a bit....further rather than just put them all into one big pile.

So these are the sub-categories:

HighSpeed Photos: Photos of falling waterdrops of course!

Liam: A couple of photos of my beloved son and best friend Liam. ?

Macros: Mostly flowers captured while still covered in frost and dew.

Norway: Photos from my last trip to Lofoten Islands.

Li: Probably the gallery with the most new images....featuring the lovely Li.

Therese: And of course....photos from my last shoot. A shoot that i´m actually oh so pleased with.

Yup....i guess that´s it for now. Later this week i plan on re-organizing and re-doing my entire website...if only i can find the time that is. First i´m gonna go pick up Liam from daycare and then we´re taking a long walk around our village to look at the first snow that fell last night.

Anyway....these may look a bit soft because they get compressed by the blog-application. They will however appear sharper once uploaded to my main gallery....which i hope to be able to update later this week. I´ve produced so incredibly many new images this past week that i feel i need to give my entire portfolio an overhaul.
