Reiki found me after a prolonged bout of sciatica when my doctor and physiotherapist suggested that I should undergo exploratory surgery.  Not wanting to undergo surgery I started looking for an alternative.  I had heard of Reiki so I started looking into it and found a website where I requested some distance healing.  I felt the effects of it almost immediately, so started looking for more information.

I found a Reiki Master who agreed to attune me to Usui Levels l & ll by distance attunement.  I also came across the Louise Hay Book ‘You can Heal your Life’, and found that a lot of the probable causes of my condition were factors in my life, so I worked at affirmations, and changing my thought patterns, and within a month I was standing up straight again and walking unaided.  My physiotherapist, amazed at the change in me, signed me off, and I no longer had the worry of surgery hanging over me.

Three months later my Reiki Master and I agreed that it was time for me to receive my Usui Reiki Master attunement, and after a further six months of study and practise I decided that the time was right for me to start Teaching Reiki and passing on attunements to others.
