My Pet Alpaca

I am so ready to start spinning Alpaca fiber.  I have several bags I have saved, but I have yet to find a spinner and a carder. A friend spun this bit of Alpaca fleece on her spinning wheel.  She normally spins wool.  She fell in love with the Alpaca fleece.  She couldn't believe how soft it is.  Didn't she do such a great job making it look so nice?  I think the little tag is adorable.  Once I start spinning, I'll be sure to update about what I learn and show some pictures.  Okay, maybe I shouldn't promise pictures in case my projects come out scary.  I am so excited to FINALLY put aside some time to spin. 

I do have some extra fleece if anyone was interested in sales or trading for a spinning wheel that is single drive, scotch tension system and a lazy kate that is reasonably priced please email me.  I am also looking for a drum carder for fine fleece.  And maybe a niddy noddy.
