Welcome to Lavender Magazine!
The magazine for thriving survivors of trauma. |
|
Our weekly eMag allows everyone to take pride in our history, speak their truth about recovery, and provides a constant stream of new ideas from other survivors.
We encourage all women to send in their best affirmations, wisdoms, insights, etc and turn them into compelling columns, articles, and special features.
If you would like to join the Lavender Sisterhood please email us a LavenderMagazine@yahoo.com. |

Our basic healing premise
is survivors rarely have a supportive network functioning in their lives. Depression and isolation are very common behaviors that need to be overcome. These conditions exist regardless of whether she lives in a metropolis or a country farm. Reaching out via the computer offers anonymity and the freedom to find her voice amongst others who will motivate and understand. |
|
Our goal is to increase your Lavender Awareness of positive role models and consequently change their internal perceptions.
We want to demonstrate how easy recovery really is when you actively pursue your self education and express your experiences through your arts and talents. |
... a movement where every Lavender Sister can grow
This video will help you learn about domestic violence so you'll feel comfortable talking to someone who might be a victim.
Please keep it at your electronic fingertips when your are about to help another Lavender Sister.

As a survivor of child sexual abuse, I find inspiration, information, and insight from the colorful and creative eMag.
Through Lavender Sisterhood you will be a part of the collective consciousness of survivors who are reaching out to you with hope and healing.
My personal thank you goes out to all the dedicated women who provide this supportive eMag to help others.
