The Joshua Foundation is a UK based charity (Registered Charity No. 1072365) that works to give experiences to children with terminal cancer.

One of the Foundation's fund raising schemes is the 'Oz Experience'. In short, "This is a fund raising project designed for Year 12 & 13 pupils from schools across the UK who will venture to Australia for the trip of a lifetime and in return raise sponsorship money for the Joshua Foundation." I, Christopher Davies, have decided to embark upon this project, departing in summer 2006, & the exact amount of money that I have to raise is £2400, £1200 of which will go directly to the Foundation to help them make life an experience for children with terminal cancer. The remaining £1200 will fly me to Australia to visit some of these children in hospital, & conduct a week of conservation work.
