PASTA PIE

As I was growing up and my desire to learn how to cook grew I came up with all kinds of dishes. I even served up a few mistakes, everyone does on this path. I think it part of the learning process and trying to find what tastes good and what tastes can be combined. I remember one day wanting to make lasagna but we had no noodles. We had everything else but no noodles so I have to improvise. I took out the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, spaghetti noodles, ground beef and some tomato sauce. I cooked off the meat seasoning it with garlic, onion salt, salt and pepper. then simmered it in the pasta sauce white cooking off my noodles. I mixed the cheeses and the pasta and set it in a greased baking dish in layers. Between each layer like lasagna I put a layer of meat and sauce and a little extra shredded cheese. Finally finishing it off with a layer of meat and shredded cheese. I baked it until the cheese was melted and sliced it.
