About Me And My Horses
My name is Dustin, im 20 years old and live in Sahuarita Arizona. I was raised with horses, my family has had horses my entire life. i was never really interested in horses when i was younger i would ride but never had that spark. I sold my horse when i was about 12 and my best friend Toni inspired me to get another horse when i was 14. I was really afraid of horses, and got intimidated easily. once i got some confidence, i started barrel racing for fun, somewhere along the way i fell in love! With horses and barrel racing, i found a passion for it and im more passionate about it now then ever. I studied everything about barrel racing and riding that i could, i watched training videos hundreds of times so i could learn something new, that maybe i missed before. i would watch professionals like Sherry Cervi and Jackie Dube two of my favorite barrel racers, i would watch them run over and over to see if i could pick something up that they did, and i did. Ive learned alot from studying other people ride. I learned alot from watching Clinton Anderson, one of the best trainers oppinion. Ive also learned alot from watching myself i would watch my recorded runs over and over again to see what i was doing right and wrong. Pictures also tell you alot, maybe your leaning or doing something in a picture that your not aware of when you run.I appreciate anyone who will put there horse before themselves. My horses are a huge part of my life, and im very grateful to have them. My dream is to be a world champion barrel racer, so watch for me in a couple of years. I want to own a ranch, and breed, train, and wiin on barrel horses that i breed and raise, hopefully one day those dreams will come true. Thanks for checking out my website.
