Hello. My name is Amber and I live in Louisiana. The first time I said anything about adoption, I was seven and told my mom and grandmother that "when I grow up I'm going to adopt one child and have one of my own." I didn't think anything of it until I was twenty. That was when I started researching the different types of adoption. In 2003 I decided I wanted to adopt, but I was not sure what kind of adoption I wanted to participate in. On September 27, 2006, after many years of research, I decided to adopt from another country.
At this moment I am 24. I have to wait until I am over 25 to adopt from Hong Kong, my country of choice. I am currently in college and do odd-and-end type jobs until I get out in another year. I would get a job, but that is very hard to do when you are a full-time student. Right now I am concentrating on my grades. I am a General Studies major with a concentration in Humanities. I want to go into something that helps animals or orphans after I graduate (not sure which one just yet). Right now I am thinking either Editor of a magazine dealing with either of these issues or Fund-Raiser, again for either of these issues.
*Please be advised that my pages are always under construction, as I am always updating the content of this site. Thank you for understanding.*
