Myhio Haven Horse Farm

MYHIO HAVEN HORSE FARM provides training to suit your needs--for all breeds and all levels-- from halter breaking and groundwork for young horses, breaking horses age 2 and up, to "tuning-up" trained horses or putting on that extra show polish.

Horse breaking and training are offered at MYHIO HAVEN HORSE FARM for $150/week, which includes full board and training.

Janine and Emily have successfully started mares, geldings and stallions, of a variety of breeds, under saddle, including:  American Paint Horses, American Quarter Horses, American Saddlebreds, Appaloosas, Arabians, Aztecas (Andalusian/Quarter Horse), Paso Finos, Rocky Mountain Horses, Spotted Saddle Horses, Racking Horses, and Tennessee Walking Horses.  Thouroghbreds, Standardbreds, and Warmblood horses have also been trained at Myhio Haven Horse Farm.  Janine and Emily look forward to working with horses of other breeds as well, including Mules!

Training is offered in English, Western, and Gaited disciplines.  The farm specializes in Hunter/Jumpers, and starting horses of any breed over fences.

We have developed a training method that is based on consistency and understanding.  We are careful that the horse comprehends each step along the way, and we allow the horses to develop at their own rate, using patience, positive reinforcement, and desensitization to create a confident, willing, and level-headed partner in your horse.
