2009 Update
It's exactly the same time as I wrote the last update - wow!
This time the hinderances of study have been suspending my degree and figuring out a way of taking it up again at a later date. I've not had my full year out yet - I feel cheated!! I've only had three months, during which time I decapitated my garden - nature has got away with far too much, jet washed my front drive - heavily laden with green moss, flooded my bathroom [a little water travels a long way] and therefore it's a good job "I'm older and I have more insurance" ... as a result of which I had to have most of my carpets replaced. OOPS!! I think my insurance premiums will be a bit high next year.
Still I plod on. My public have been most helpful reading my work "just get the damn thing finished Malcs!" A few people have said the same about my academia - so I must get on with it.
To Adam and Tony ... thank you for helping my expand the ideas even further. I'm sure there's enough to go round and ... yes of course you can both have a signed CD-ROM.
I inadvertently discovered that I'd gained another public without even knowing - so for those little wee peole who are wearing their fingers down hammering out the keystrokes "welcome aboard" and do take some breaks in your keyboard work or you'll have more deformed fingers than I've got. Thank you for your assistance

To Chloe and JD Hills et al ..... purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ... forget the "nobody ever feeds me" routine, just stick to "I want ma foooo-d".
