Asian art with flying dragons. The dragons on the painting have pure chinese dragons characteristics, but do they have wings like that? Those wings are more like european legends dragons ones. They are mixed here. Anyway, it just look good. I found this piece of art on a student website and I decided to include it on this page because it's so appropriate for my life. Asia is where I come from, but I live in America, so I cherish bothcultures. Dragons are fantastic creatures that supports bouddhas in asian cultures but they are dangerous in the occidental legends. Mixing both cultures will give an image like this. Tranquility on Earth and fights in the sky.

My Style
Myartis is the name I chose, but people don't call me that way. I took it because it represents me. I'm an artist, but I don't play music, I don't paint and I don't sing. My art is way more general, I admit, I like to draw and I think I'm not bad, but I don't create art. I like art, that's all. Art is a way of expression, people say. Well for me, it's a way of living. I draw what I see, and I try to put the feelings on image. Trying to create harmony in everything in life, having my mind cleared up, not letting problems of this world destroy my life. You see I'm very spiritual, but I have my feet on the ground.
Blue is my color, representing peace and beauty. Blue is what I see when I look above, blue is the color of my favorite element of nature, the sea. It makes harmony with white in the day, and black at night. Not too flashing, not too dark, my soul is blue. Masculine color a few people would say, I say blue is the color that covers the whole world. What would you say. It makes me feel good. Red is the color of love, but red is too cruel for me, even love is part of my blue world. I'm not a fool, but try to put some blue in your world, you'll see the difference. Isn't it a neutral color? When you see blue, isn't it a color that brings happiness? I guess everyone sees things differently.

TRANSLATIONS :
Is the finger that's drawing a line to connect the dots tracing out the road I've come down, or the one I'm going away on?
two people tie these lines together one day everyone will arrive at the sea, not scared because they'll become one.
flowing through countless rivers you don't have to accept everything with the name you're given without ever asking 'why'? Our pain just now flew away.
We weren't entrusted with swords just so we'd know how they sound when they clash. Who can you protect with that kind of contradiction?
you change shape so many times, floating down before me Today I'm looking for you. you don't have to be accepted everywhere. everyone was blessed with a blade called "individuality"
sometimes the flow changes you don't have to accept everything with the name you're given without having anything. the birds facing against the seabreeze just now flew away.
