Whitehorse Historical Tour - 23rd July 2006

In an attempt to mix a bit of history in with a rideout we took a tour of historical sites around Wiltshire (and hopefully some decent off road trails).

Neil taking it easy as we enter Salisbury Plain. We didn't want to upset the locals ...

... although they look more dangerous than they really are

(these are dummies used by the army for target practice).

Ella and Clive. Shep claimed he stopped on a high spot and lost his balance - whatever.

Not your everyday road sign ! Think I will stick to the track.

The white horses ....

Somehow Ella managed to do a 180degree U-Turn.

I am not sure who was more surprised, Ella or Neil.

The bikes were interlocked nicely !

It must have been the influence of all these hostorical sites.

Neil came over all intellectual and started to study things closely ...

We did manage to find some water (and mud) to splash through ....

... but this unfortunately resulted in very wet socks !!!
