Princetown - 9/10th September 2006
Did I really need so much stuff for a weekend ? I am sure people take less on a round the world trip.
It was a strange feeling putting up the tent without it raining !
Just look at the blue sky over Princetown ...
Gathering for the Saturday morning rideouts ...
Not suitable for Motors was an understatement, this is the exit of the first offroad section (I didn't stop to photograph the rocky bits I spent too much time sliding around and hanging on for dear life). Tim christened his new Adventure. I felt lucky to escape this one alive !
With such a large group (18 I think) the traffic jams were inevitable.
Not sure what sort of by-ways these were, but they were barely 'single track' ...
Steve had a nasty moment, had us concerned for a while, but he was just winded and was up on his feet a few minutes later.
Rob made a real mess of the Ford at lunchtime, much to the amusement of everyone ...
And Saturday night finished with Steve taking the star raffle prize ...
... nobody shared a tent with Steve !
