Chalkpit Hills Enduro - Salisbury Plain - 26th November 2006

Torrential rain on Sunday morning meant I was soaked before arriving at the meeting point. Fortunately I was not alone, six of us braved the weather - myself, Tim, SteveC, Kev, Steve and Chris. Although Steve cheated by driving his car and taking his Yamaha XT350 on a trailer.

First stop was to watch Steve Burbridge (Bakerman) competing in the Chalkpit Hills Enduro ...

The heavy rain meant the tracks were mainly very slippery clay. Some minor repairs to Chris' 650 (broken indicator and bent brake pedal) ...

It rained some more, the puddles got bigger, and visibility got worse ...

Steve gave up on this "puddle" (which did a pretty good impression of a small lake), but I ventured on and heroically made it to the far end!

Steve restored his honour with a decent water splash ...

Kev getting a bit ambitous! and later found a novel way to empty water from his boots.
