The Mohawk Valley Pagan Network

                                  Welcome!

About Us

The Mohawk Valley Pagan Network was formed in January of 2005, when regularly meeting members of the Utica Pagan Meetup and Utica Wiccan Meetup merged under the direction of Seraphoenix.  Since then we have evolved into a true community of Pagans, shifting our focus inward to learn from each other and celebrate together, even as we individually pursue very different Pagan paths.

Our Structure

MVPN is neither coven nor grove, church, nor temple.  We are, first and foremost, a network of individuals who represent several traditions of Wicca, Reconstructionist Paganism, and paths in-between.   We are governed by an elected council of five: Elder, Mistress/Master of Ceremonies, Summoner, Maiden & Scribe.  Celebrations are led by various MVPN members and follow the liturgy of whomever designs and leads the ritual in question.  Workshops and other events are lead by various members in accordance with their individual knowledge, experience and ability.

Our Mission

We seek to provide a way for Pagans of the Mohawk Valley to network with each other, socially and spiritually; to provide education and accurate information to the public and each other about the many diverse spiritual paths, perspectives, ideas, and visions within Paganism; to provide a supportive environment in which all can share their personal paths with others and explore a variety of paths, techniques, subjects, etc.; and to encourage diversity in individual thought, thea/ologies, and traditions.
